Loading & Unloading * Unload all inbound deliveries, including small parcel and full truckloads, and positioning product in the correct designated areas in an organized manager, ensuring efficient and safe handling of shipments. * Verify pallet counts, piece counts, and inspect deliveries for damages, notifying the proper warehouse associate or supervisor of discrepancies or issues to ensure such discrepancy is noted on delivery receipts. * Collect and forward all delivery documentation to proper warehouse personnel for processing. * Load all transfer shipments, LTL, FTL, and parcel as required, including logical delivery order when needed, and verify count, labeling, shipment grouping. * Ensure full pallets are properly wrapped and staged in designed staging racks within the shipping area * Provide feedback to warehouse freight leads on truck or trailer capacity as soon as possible. * Assist the warehouse manager and other assigned personnel with product staging, inspection, counts, and consolidation in the shipping area and verify order accuracy, efficient pallet usage, and check-in process to a pallet license plate label. Parcel * Check all parcel orders for accuracy, resolving and documenting any errors before shipment. * Package all parcel shipments to meet the servicing carrier's shipping guidelines, ensuring protection against damage. Apply appropriate identification labels and include correct documentation such as shipping labels. * Verify size, shape, and weight of parcel and compare against expected cost using cost tables or other means, ensuring cost expected meets cost incurred. * Complete all order processing and status updates in the Dancik system, and maintain data accuracy in the Shiplinx system when processing parcel shipments. * Print and include packing lists for all orders requiring documentation for accounting and customer records, including adding notes to orders to indicate relevant shipping information. * Provide shipping quotes for parcel requests and communicate necessary information via email to the appropriate personnel. * Monitor and manage inventory of packing supplies and notify supervisor when resupply is needed. * Deliver small packages to appropriate office personnel when required. Job summary: This employee will be a key member of the Thrift Store team, focused on service to the customers, clients and donors, and restocking merchandise as well as handling donations and various other warehouse duties. Primary duties: - Provide customer and donor assistance throughout the store: answer questions, anticipate customer's needs, offer help, and encourage sales - Intake of donations via timely, positive interactions with donors - Box and load donations onto a trailer - Keep merchandise clean and in the most saleable condition - Load donation trailers in a safe and efficient manner - Assist in unloading incoming trucks from the processing center - Assist in the sorting of used clothing Requirements: Part time associates MUST be available to work NIGHTS & WEEKENDS between the hours of 9 am to 7:30pm - 4/6 hour varying shifts. Part time position also available for daytime hours 10am- 3pm, 10am-4pm, or 1pm-6pm shifts. Punctual and work required shifts consistently Able to deal with the public in a friendly and courteous manner. Capable of performing all job functions, including sales work, reading and writing sales slips, loading and unloading trucks, performing cleaning duties. Display a willingness to communicate and interact effectively with individuals from diverse cultures, varying abilities, ethnicities, and races. Role Summary: The warehouse assistant is responsible for orderly storage of raw materials and finished goods; promptly supplying the raw materials needed to various production areas; transporting skidded finished goods from production areas to proper location in the warehouse; and assembling, staging and final preparation for shipment. Accountable for: Unload raw materials, make certain that raw materials are safely and efficiently stored, including accurate record of materials on hand. Follows good manufacturing practices to ensure product safety. Fulfill raw material needs of various production areas by transporting to the area and recording the transfer of material. Transport finished goods to warehouse, record accurate count and production variety, and safely and effectively store until shipment. Assemble orders for shipment, record product flow, prepare shipping documentation, and load for shipment. Completes other projects as assigned by the production manager or other leader. Desired Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Valid State Driver's License Understanding and application of RFID scanning systems A Commercial Driver's License is helpful, but not required. PI will pay for training if required. Ability to safely operate all warehouse mobile equipment. Normally 1-2 years production experience in a warehouse and manufacturing environment. Previous work effectively with records containing numerical detail. Proficient in English. Physical Demands: Frequent lifting of 15-25 lbs. Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs. Tolerate exposure to temperature variation. Safely operate any required mobile equipment.
