Job Responsibilities:
Pilots will gain and maintain flight qualification in one of our fleets of aircraft, specifically the A-4 Skyhawk and F-1 Mirage.
Attend flight briefings, plan and fly adversary training missions, accomplish flight debriefings.

Qualifications
Qualifications:
Pilots shall have the education, training, technical knowledge, and experience required for these functions. Minimum pilot qualifications are as follows:
Shall be citizen of the United States. No foreign nationals permitted.
Military tactical flying experience in one of the following:
500 hours total fighter time* and current in Armed Forces Reserve or Guard status, or
DoD Retired or Separated with 1000 hours fighter time*, or
DoD Retired or Separated with 1300 hours total time (PIC/IP/SEFE in F/A/T-aircrafts) with 300 hours fighter time*, or
*Fighter time includes any Government owned F-, A- designation, as well as T-38 ADAIR, T-38 IFF, and any international exchange fighter equivalent aircraft serving as Pilot in Command, Instructor Pilot, or Stan/Eval Flight Examiner.
Shall have tactical flying qualification within the preceding 5 years. This qualification can be with the US Military Department, a foreign DoD equivalent, or a US DoD Contractor providing ADAIR or Close-air-support on another DoD contract. This may be waived on a case-by-case basis based on experience level of hiring candidate.
Previous qualified DoD flight lead (4-ship for ADAIR) in F- or A- designated
aircraft.
Current FAA Class II medical rating.
FAA Rating. All pilots shall be IFR rated and shall hold a single engine commercial pilot certificate.
Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET Clearance.

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Pilot-in-Command reports to the Chief Pilot regarding Company policies and procedures. Duties will involve FAR Part 91/135 operations as part of a crew.
The Pilot-in-Command has the following responsibility for safe transportation of passengers, crewmembers, and cargo during all aircraft operations. He / She may delegate duties but not the responsibility of those duties.
To serve as Pilot-in-Command in any aircraft he/she must hold an Airline Transport Pilot Certificate with the appropriate category and class rating and be qualified for their assigned position.
Candidate must be located within 90 minutes of the Orlando, FL area (Sanford, FL). Local candidates highly preferred. If not currently local, relocation to the Orlando, FL area is required for this position.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Final authority to operate the assigned aircraft.
Authority to delay, cancel or discontinue a flight when, in his / her opinion conditions are unsuitable for the initiation or continuation of the flight.
Authority to indicate a change in the planned flight during the flight when, in his / her opinion, such a change is appropriate for the safer operation of the aircraft.
Respecting aircraft performance (i.e., takeoff, en-route, landing, special operations, mountainous airports, etc.), Flight Crewmembers shall strictly adhere to Company operating policies and procedures so as to mitigate the potential of controlled flight into terrain (CFIT).
Responsible for flight planning taking into account:
The suitability of the weather,
Routing,
Airports, traffic conditions,
Airway facilities along the route to be flown,
Aircraft performance.
Responsibility to ensure that a flight initiated is completed as planned.
Institute all necessary changes as required by en-route conditions such that the flight may continue under appropriate procedures and rules.
Responsible for conducting the flight in a safe and prudent manner in accordance with the, but not limited to, the following items:
Reviewing and reporting the maintenance status of each aircraft.
The conduct of a proper preflight inspection in accordance with the approved Airplane Flight Manual or accepted preflight checklist.
A complete check of weather and facilities along the route to be flown and airport to be used.
Ensure the flight is conducted in accordance with the policies and procedures of this Manual, the Operations Specifications and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.
To determine that weight and balance procedures are followed, and that the gross weight and CG of the loaded aircraft are within limits for operation.
Ensuring the safety of passengers, aircraft and crew.
Accurate completion of all trip paperwork in accordance with current procedures.
The Pilot-in-Command must adhere to the Certificate Holders directions and instructions, and compliance with all operations specifications, regulations and policies set forth in this manual with regard to operational control under Part 135. Failure to do so by the PIC may result in legal action by the FAA.
The Pilot-in-Command must carry out his/her duties and responsibilities in a "professional manner" at all times. The Pilot-in-Command sets the example for all crewmembers with regards to proper conduct, appearance, alertness, discipline, adherence to policies and procedures and standards. The PIC is expected to have open communication, and to be receptive to input from all crewmembers, toward the shared goal of a safe flight operation.
Comply with all regulatory, operations specifications and policies and procedures in this manual.
Being a Pilot in Command requires to have FAA/DOT Part 120 Pre-Employment drug test, and enrolled in the random drug and alcohol testing program.
The Pilot-in-Command will report any and all flight interruptions to the Company. These must be reported prior to the next departure.

Flexjet, an award-winning organization that specializes in high end private jet travel, is seeking an Instructor Pilot to join our team! Flexjet currently operates over 230 aircraft with over 1,200 pilots located in 150 domiciles traveling both domestically and internationally! The selected candidate must be able to travel and will be responsible for the delivery of pilot training courses through direct daily interface with Captains and First Officers of Flexjet aircraft as well as proficiency evaluations as directed.
This position is located at the CAE Training Center in Lake Nona, Florida.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
* Simulator flight training to Flexjet pilots
* Classroom Instruction in all subjects
* Assist in the development of courseware and training material to ensure a well-developed and accurately structured pilot training program
* Support the development and certification of training curriculums including simulator, FTD and FMS training devices
* Pilot Training Instruction - deliver exceptional initial and recurrent pilot training instruction
* Deliver new hire and recurrent pilot training that addresses Crew Resource Management, Flexjet Standard Operating Procedures, Checklist Philosophy, Roles & Responsibilities, Performance goals, Forms & Records, Briefing/Debriefing methods and others. Ensures that training procedures reflect actual operation and SOP's
* Maintain currency on regulatory issues that impact Flexjet Flight Operations
* Inspect work and correct as necessary to meet the Quality Requirements expected by crewmembers, the supervisor, and Company specifications
* Support other team members and conduct self in such a manner that he/she is respected by others. Maintain the highest degree of integrity and teamwork within and outside the training department
* Perform all operations in a safe manner and make every reasonable effort to prevent others from committing unsafe acts
* Make every effort to continuously learn and to train others
* Manage time to optimize productivity
* Communicate with colleagues and supervisor in a clear, friendly, honest and timely manner

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
* FAA ATP with type rating in at least one Company fleet aircraft
* Minimum of one year experience with Flexjet as a pilot is preferred
* Thorough knowledge of:
* Regulatory issues impacting Flexjet training requirements
* Simulator based flight training program structure
* Current instructional design technology
* Flexjet Flight Operations Manual
* Working knowledge of Flexjet organizational structure and policies
REQUIRED SKILLS
* Must be able to travel
* Ability to act as a liaison for the company with governmental officials, FAA, TSA and other agencies
* Strong interpersonal, verbal/written, listening, and presentation skills are necessary to effectively teach required subjects and provide constructive feedback.
* Must possess the skills to properly judge and evaluate pilot performance and willing to accurately and impartially judge and evaluate
* Successful candidate must be able to keep accurate records, complete proper paperwork and submit required documents to the company in a timely manner
* Proficiency with computer applications such as CAMP, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
* Must be able to function well in a high demand environment while maintaining a positive attitude and image and work well with others.
