The Control Room Operator (ROC Operator) is responsible for the continuous monitoring, control, and coordination of multiple hydroelectric facilities from a centralized Remote Operations Center (ROC). This role utilizes SCADA, HMI, and PLC systems to ensure the safe, efficient, and regulatory-compliant operation of all plant assets. Operating on a 24/7 schedule, the ROC Operator plays a critical role in supporting grid reliability, maintaining environmental compliance, and upholding system safety. The position requires a high level of technical knowledge, situational awareness, and clear communication with both on-site and remote personnel. Key Responsibilities Monitor real-time plant performance using SCADA, HMI, and remote camera systems. Remotely operate hydroelectric turbines, generators, gates, and auxiliary systems in accordance with dispatch orders and SOPs. Execute safe start-up, shutdown, and load-change sequences.
