Imaging Processing Operator Kent, WA(On-Site, Full-Time)
Schedule:MondayFriday, Day Shift Position Type:Full-Time, On-Site
Opens, sorts and performs document prep on incoming mail that is connected to the work performed.
Batches the documents and scans them into the system.
Performs Quality Assurance on scanned documents
Perform general cleaning and maintenance of scanning equipment.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Data entry services involving the keying of data (on standard work station keyboards) and correcting erroneous data from standard forms and other input document review and resolution of data entry related problems with Area Offices, Regional Offices and the National Office; and other related support functions.
Clerical Services usually involving the review, verification, validation and tabulation of data for a variety of functions.
Occasional support services typically involving opening, counting, and sorting of incoming mail, filing mail in proper file folders, retrieving/replacing file folders in accordance with DOL prescribed procedures, and various other duties associated with the claims adjudication and payment processes.
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Shall meet the following experience requirements:
High school diploma and one year of experience with printing or scanning systems.
Completed a PC operator course involving use of a computer terminal screen and keyboard
Have specialized knowledge of composition and presentation techniques.
Be able to effectively communicate technical information through descriptive texts to the intended audience.

ABOUT THE POSITION:
Responsible for operating machines to ensure that quality standards are consistently met, the line meets schedule attainment and line efficiency standards, the mechanical operations run smoothly an Operator 1's can operate the following lines: Multivac, Circle 40, Shrink Tunnel, Velocity, Ultracan, Shaking, Delinking, Raw processing Continuous Line, Jerky Mixing, Batching and Spice Blend.
SCHEDULE: 3rd Shift 8-hours per day with possible daily overtime and during peak summer/fall production.
WAGE: Hourly range for this position is $23.00 - $24.00 per hour, with a starting range of $23.00 per hour for 3rd shift, also working a 3rd shift you will receive an additional $1.00 per hour for shift differential pay.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
May perform one or all the following job functions:
Ensure meat, dates, tape, labels, and other supplies are correct according to product specifications.
Ensure efficient packaging by setting up workstations correctly and effectively.
Demonstrate leadership by directing employees to assist others where needed on other lines or rework when machines are down.
Encourage team to be ready to start on time in the morning, after breaks and lunch.
Perform product quality and QA checks to eliminate or reduce product waste or rework, these may include but are not limited to hourly weight or count checks, oxygen level tests, metal detection, or blade inspection.
Maximize quality and efficiency by adjusting machines registration, sealing temperature, speed, gas levels, and slicing width.
Encourage teamwork by informing each team member of their role and responsibility on the line and motivating team members to achieve expected hourly output.
Maintain current records by filling out required paperwork correctly and completely throughout the run.
Able to load and thread film on packaging lines.
Performs metal detection.
Prepare work area by assembling and setting up workstations.
Ensure that meat being batched/mixed is to specifications.
Ensure that correct spices are used and properly recorded in a timely manner.
Maintain housekeeping standards and account for all inedible products.
Stage spices to be used by, making sure that all foreign material (cardboard, plastic, etc.) is removed and that all proper handling procedures are followed.
As directed, perform basic maintenance to equipment, maintain cleanliness of equipment and clean equipment as necessary.
Ensure proper identification of product by recording weights of tubs/totes with proper batch number and ingredient ticket weights.
Observe machine operations to ensure quality and conformity of filled or packaged products to standards.
Remove finished packaged items from machine and separate rejected items.
Stop or reset machines when malfunctions occur, clear machine jams, and report malfunctions to a lead or supervisor.
Able to set up and adjust the check weighers.
Stock and sort product for packaging machine operation and coordinate the replenishing of packaging supplies such as film, WIP, boxes, clip strips, or ageless.
Inspect and remove defective products and packaging materials.
Manage machine change over's including sanitizing machine for species or allergen changes.
Run labels according to product specifications.
Ensure that proper safety and sanitation measures are followed by instructing employees on proper company procedures and then monitoring personnel to make sure all procedures are being followed.
Ensure smooth flow of work by monitoring production on the processing machine operation (Spice Blending, Shaking, and Delinking). Assign people to various functions of the machine and operation as needed. Maintain appropriate communication with all personnel and make decisions when necessary.
Keep track of production as it relates to schedules and scheduling. Monitor production levels of crew and machine to ensure required production standards are met.
Follow through on delegated tasks and assist where necessary.
Maintain even workflow by being organized and planning and making changes as needed or directed.
Ensure all persons on the processing machines and crew are properly trained, and time worked is properly recorded.
Ensure accurate calibration of machines, and that machinery is in good repair. Notify lead, supervisor and, if appropriate, maintenance if machine operation is out of the scope of efficiency and safety according to prescribed standards and procedures.
Assist lead and/or supervisor by training all new personnel, monitoring performance, and ensuring that procedures are followed.
Maintain product integrity throughout the area of responsibility, checking product for proper materials, specifications, labeling, etc. Performs quality checks on product to ensure optimum quality.
Perform raw material audits and check weights.
Follow all specification sheets.
Grind, add, and record rework keeping all items separate and properly identified.
Ensure that meat being batched is to specifications.
Ensure that correct spices are used and properly recorded in a timely manner.
Maintain housekeeping standards and account for all inedible products.
Verify that meat that is stacked on pallets is the same as batch ticket.
Utilize team members efficiently during machine downtime by directing personnel to work on special projects or in other departments. If nothing is available, the machine operator will have crew report to department lead.
Inform Management of any Food Safety or Quality issues or of any processes, which have become noncompliant with specified requirements.
Follow established programs, policies, and practices to produce safe quality foods that meet regulatory and company requirements.
Maintain accountability to Oberto Brands Food Safety and Quality Principles.
Support the development, implementation, maintenance, and ongoing improvement of the SQF 2000 Systems.
Back-up: Operator 1 is back-up for Operator Trainee.
Back-up: Operator 1 is backed up by Operator 2, 3.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School (minimum)
6 months manufacturing experience preferred.
Pallet Jack experience preferred.
Lock-Out Tag-Out Certified (OJT).
Familiarity with HACCP (OJT), SQF preferred.
Other Food Safety, Quality, Technical, and Regulatory Training as needs determine appropriate.
Understanding and compliance with all GMPs (OJT)
Understanding and compliance with all personal safety rules (OJT)

The Process Operator is responsible for the maintenance and operation of equipment and processes in our Woodinville facility.
Some
of the processes may involve use of hazardous and volatile materials under high temperature and pressure. Therefore, process operators must follow safe work practices including wearing of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), following detailed procedures and instructions, accurately recording of process conditions and some laboratory testing.
This position offers opportunities for continuous learning and, the opportunity for advancement towards production leadership roles.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
Perform job duties in a safe and conscientious manner, following all procedures, programs, and policies established for specific processes.
Maintaining equipment and following operations' standard operating procedures.
Observe machine operations to ensure quality and conformity of manufactured or packaged products and intermediates.
Isolating systems for maintenance using work permits and lock out tag out process.
Operating manual and pneumatic valves.
Operating systems using Distributed Control System.
Act accordingly to all system and plant alarms and follow standard operating procedures (SOP).
Maintaining proper and safe process operations of the operating equipment.
Adjust machine components and machine settings to comply with product protocols.
Remove finished product from machine and separate rejected items.
Make periodic checks of process and equipment settings.
Perform preventative maintenance on equipment as assigned.
Stop or reset machines when malfunctions occur, and report malfunctions to supervisor.
Assist in the design and implementation of production techniques and equipment scale-up.
Follow detailed procedures and instructions.
Record process conditions.
Inspect processes and work to assure effective quality control.
Support continuous quality initiatives.
Function with the production team effectively.
Train other employees in proper production techniques, safety and equipment operation as needed.
Perform other work as assigned.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous manufacturing experience.
Strong analytical and math proficiency.
High level of mechanical aptitude.
Ability to systematically troubleshoot and problem solve integrated processes.
Good communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to stand for a minimum of two hours without assistance.

OTHER QUALITIES WE'D LOVE FOR YOU TO HAVE:
AA degree in a related field.
1+ years of direct experience working as a process operator in a chemical plant, power plant, nuclear plant, or other industrial manufacturing facility.
Experience using computer control interface software.
Certificate in six sigma or lean manufacturing.
Ability to read and interpret piping schematics/ diagrams.
Fork truck license.
The base pay range for this position starts at $22/hour for Level 1 ($1.50 additional per hour for the night shift) to $28+/hour for more senior levels, depending on experience. All positions come with a company bonus and stock options. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, the applicant's qualifications for the position; years of relevant experience; specific and unique skills; level of education attained; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the position is located.

The Water Technician is responsible for the field work, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and installation of water systems owned and/or managed by Peninsula Light Company. The scope of work includes but is not limited to collecting and transporting required water samples, performing brush clearing and general cleaning of grounds and facilities, water main flushing, meter and service installation, monitoring and adjusting chlorine levels, pump and pressure tank replacement, line repair, electrical component diagnosis and repair. This individual must know how to use a vac truck and various power and hand tools such as a jack hammer, plate compactor, gas-powered saw, and pressure washer. This position is subject to working an on-call rotation. It is expected the on-call technician will respond to after-hours emergencies.

GENERAL FUNCTION

4. Responds and communicates verbally and in writing with a variety of company employees, customer contacts and developers.

6. Installs and directs the installation of new water lines and/or services including tapping mains, installation of valves, hydrants, meters and other related facilities.

8. Accomplishes brushing, clearing, cutting/trimming grass and general cleaning around underground facilities.
9. Installs conduit/duct while working under the supervision of a Foreman or Journeyman level lineman. Installs water piping systems as directed by Water Manager. Obtains locates prior to excavations.
10. Assists installation of underground facilities by digging around utility vaults, poles, pads, etc.
12. Maintains valid First Aid/CPR card.

The Process Operator is responsible for the maintenance and operation of equipment and processes in our Woodinville facility.
Some
of the processes may involve use of hazardous and volatile materials under high temperature and pressure. Therefore, process operators must follow safe work practices including wearing of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), following detailed procedures and instructions, accurately recording of process conditions and some laboratory testing.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

Job Description
The Water Technician is responsible for the field work, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and installation of water systems owned and/or managed by Peninsula Light Company. The scope of work includes but is not limited to collecting and transporting required water samples, performing brush clearing and general cleaning of grounds and facilities, water main flushing, meter and service installation, monitoring and adjusting chlorine levels, pump and pressure tank replacement, line repair, electrical component diagnosis and repair. This individual must be familiar with pump controls, pressure switches and possess a basic understanding of pumphouse electrical systems. This individual must know how to use a vac truck and various power and hand tools such as a jack hammer, plate compactor, gas-powered saw, and pressure washer. The Water Technician is required to work independently, use good judgement, creatively solve problems, demonstrate mechanical aptitude, and maintain positive working relationships with coworkers. This position is subject to working an on-call rotation. It is expected the on-call technician will respond to after-hours emergencies.

GENERAL FUNCTION

6. Installs and directs the installation of new water lines and/or services including tapping mains, installation of valves, hydrants, meters and other related facilities.
7. Complies with Peninsula Light Company and Department of Health policies, regulations and safety/health standards and all other applicable administrative and operating procedures.
8. Accomplishes brushing, clearing, cutting/trimming grass and general cleaning around underground facilities.
9. Installs conduit/duct while working under the supervision of a Foreman or Journeyman level lineman. Installs water piping systems as directed by Water Manager. Obtains locates prior to excavations.
10. Assists installation of underground facilities by digging around utility vaults, poles, pads, etc.
12. Maintains valid First Aid/CPR card.
13. Maintains valid flagging certification. Performs duties of traffic control.
14. Responds to emergency situations and performs duties as directed.

• Knowledge of and skill in operating equipment used in maintenance and construction of water systems.
• Ability to coordinate critical operations during emergencies involving water system failures.
• Ability to read and understand policy and procedure manuals and construction specification handbooks.
• Thorough understanding of safety regulations and emergency procedures.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, and to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, supervisors, customers and the general public.
• Ability to lead Utility/Electrical Worker(s) in proper work methods and procedures.
• Willingness and ability to work outdoors in inclement weather conditions.
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Work includes indoor and outdoor environment subject to driving from site to site to conduct work; may be subject to adverse weather conditions, noise and extended working hours. Travel may be necessary. Employees in this position may be exposed to fumes and potential electric shock. May be expected to work extended out-of-routine hours for emergencies or for certain projects. Position requires lifting and working in confined areas. May be required to climb and ascend rough terrain and job sites under development in all types of weather. Must be capable of lifting 75 pounds.
RECRUITING REQUIREMENTS
Equivalent of high school diploma or G.E.D.
Minimum of three years of increasingly responsible experience in installation, repair, and maintenance of water distribution and/or treatment systems.
Demonstrated lead capabilities.
Valid Washington State driver's license with commercial driver's endorsement.
Washington State certification as a Water Distribution Manager 1.
Valid first aid, CPR and flagging certifications.

Have 1 or more years of experience as a Water Restoration Technician.
Be IICRC certified with current WRT and ASD certifications.
Be presentable and professional. You are the first face our customers see, and first impressions mean everything.
Offer world class customer service. Most of our customers are going through a very difficult time. Be empathetic and strive to take great care of them during the restoration process.
Be willing to learn. We offer paid IICRC training to further your industry knowledge which helps us stay on top new ways to better serve our customers.
Be a part of a 24/7 on-call rotation and respond to emergency situations as needed.
Pass a background check. Yes we do check…
Have a valid Drivers License and a clean record.
TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE
Effectively lead teams and manage multiple jobs at the same time.
Accurately complete all job-related paperwork.
Have general construction-related knowledge to perform demolition tasks effectively.
Leave job sites with a clean and orderly appearance.
Be comfortable working in crawl spaces with proper PPE gear.
Communicate with office and crews the status of each job
The ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
