What will be expected of you: Greet and serve members and guests of the Club, assisting and providing exceptional service. Take carts to the staging area, making sure carts are available throughout the day. Ensure that all dirty carts are washed, dried, and restocked. Keep the cart barn and surrounding area clean and orderly. Keep an adequate supply of practice balls at the practice range and chipping greens. Keep the practice range, chipping green, and surrounding areas clean and orderly. Pick up & clean all balls from the range and chip greens at the end of the day. Dispenses range balls by club policies. Store and clean golf clubs for the members and guests. Load and unload golf bags on carts for tournaments. Provide identification name labels for members' clubs. Upon request, deliver golf bags to the starter house, front door, and member's cars. Maintain neat and orderly appearance of the bag room. Write information onto repair tags for club fitting and repair. Relay phone messages for members. Clean rental sets and return to the golf shop. Inform cart barn staff about disabled carts. Hours are between 6:00 am - 2:00 pm and 1:00 pm - Close. The Lead Plant Operator has responsibility for all critical equipment operators at Fort Detrick Energy Production Facility. This individual oversees boiler, chiller, and conditioned emergency power systems operation under the direction of the Facility Manager and Assistant Facility Manager. The Lead Plant Operator also oversees the day-to-day task list of facility operations, maintenance tasks and other duties as assigned.in Fort Detrick in Frederick, MD. The essential functions of the position include: Responsible for the day-to-day operations of all facility equipment to ensure compliance with safety, regulatory and performance standards. Oversees all subcontractors and facility personnel involved in equipment operation and maintenance. Monitor and adjust plant equipment performance, taking corrective actions as needed to optimize energy efficiency. Operate plant control systems, HMI devices and perform electrical switching operations, including racking out circuit breakers.. Work a rotating shift (Dupont Schedule) that includes 12-hour shifts on both days and nights. Provide on-call after-hours support. Participate in spill equipment deployment and emergency response. Maintain plant operating records and logs. Obtain measurements and readings and compare with industry/manufacturer standards. Report problems requiring further action to the Facility Manager and shift relief as soon as possible. Perform minor preventative maintenance activities to include inventory of stocked items and grounds maintenance as required. Perform Water Chemistry Analysis and make changes to chemical feeds in response to results of water chemistry. Adjusts firing controls, fuel feeds, and air drafts for best combustion efficiency. Operates numerous auxiliary equipment, such as pumps, water heaters, fans, and de-aerating equipment. Collects samples of boiler water, performs prescribed tests, and determines amount of chemicals to be fed into boilers for treatment of water and control of corrosion and chemical concentrations. Maintains constant observation for defects in the system. In the event problems arise, either repairs malfunctions or notifies the supervisor. Follows standard emergency procedures until trouble can be corrected. Maintains logs, records, and other plant data as required. Performs routine operational maintenance, e.g., cleans burners, oils and grease moving parts, packs valves and pumps, cleans oil strainers, etc. May be required to locate and repair limited electrical problems in oil burning controls, safety devices, etc. Operates various types of air conditioning and cooling systems. Starts stops and adjusts equipment. Regulates refrigerant, water temperatures and pressures by manipulating appropriate switches, rheostats, valves and levers.
