Valicor Environmental Services is looking for a Lead PlantOperator to work in our Adamsville, AL facility.
Load and unload trucks at the facility
Log in all weights and counts of loads
Safe chemical handling including bulk unloading and transfer of chemicals
Treatment of waste streams with the use of heated tanks and chemicals
Operate pumps, valves, PLC screens and other light industrial equipment
Operate biological WWTP including OWS, EQ, MBR, DAF, Lamella and other mechanical solids management equipment
Conduct WWTP laboratory analysis for operational performance and operational adjustments
Perform mathematical calculations for chemical dosages, RAS/WAS and loadings
Conduct benchtop stream treatability for required chemical dosages
Complete minor mechanical repairs
Operate forklifts in a safe and efficient manner
Complete daily forklift inspection
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Follow all plant safety policies and practices
Requirements
Ability to stand/walk throughout duration of shifts
Must be able to pass all required safety/environmental courses upon hire
Ability to safely climb ladders and steps
Must be able to lift 50+ pounds
Must be willing to learn the operation and adhere to ALL safety guidelines
Must be self-motivated and posses personal accountability
Ability to use computer (data entry)
Must be willing to work 1st or 2nd shift
