Purpose: Operate machinery and assist with production line as needed. Responsible for housekeeping and safety in his/her work environment. Key Accountabilities/Essential Functions: 1. Operate and maintain machinery. 2. Accurately record electronically or manually the actual usage of raw materials and chemicals used.
3. Assist in machine wash-ups, changes and daily machine cleaning after breaks or shutdowns including physical moving, bending and/or lifting during those procedures.
4. Assist in locating, transporting and handling of raw materials and/or chemicals, including opening and staging fiber.
5. Comply with all Lock-Out, Tag Out and Confined Space procedures.
6. Identify and immediately report any unsafe act, condition or potential hazard to Supervisor or responsible personnel.
7. Locate, transport by using a powered lift truck and track ordered raw materials and/or chemicals from inventory by lot or ID number for use in pulp and/or chemical formulations.
8. Accept direction from multiple sources of authority.
9. Prepare chemical formulations in accordance with written instructions.
10. Work in sequence using many components with high degree of accuracy.
11. Physically transport and handle chemicals and raw materials up to 50 pounds.
12. Climb catwalks, work around machinery with hot and slippery surfaces.
13. Observe conditions and quarantine if necessary any unacceptable or questionable raw materials and/or chemicals and communicate to supervisor as necessary.
14. Comply with safety rules and the worksite safety plan.
15. Comply with environmental guidelines, and federal and state-mandated RCRA waste handling and recycling procedures.
16. This position is additionally responsible as part of the manufacturing flexibility program to cross-train and be fully qualified to work in an at least one other alternate position within the manufacturing operation.
Education, Technical Knowledge, Experience and Skill Requirements:
High school diploma
Basic Math skills
Read and write English
3 months - 1 year work experience in an industrial manufacturing environment preferred.
• Must be able to work with work with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to upgrade job skills through participation in periodic training programs as available.
• Must be physically and mentally able to perform similar job functions in other areas.

Job Description
Position Purpose:
Operates and performs maintenance at two surface water treatment plants and all other operating facilities (booster stations, tanks, pits, etc). Person is required to maintain proper production and maintenance records, and perform all routine chemical tests required to ensure that water quality standards are met.
Primary Duties/Responsibilities:
* Position reports directly to the Production Manager.
* Function as PlantOperator or Maintenance Technician based upon rotation of schedule setup by Production Manager. Work overtime as required and respond to emergencies outside of normal working hours.
* Monitor and operate two surface water treatment plants and all other operating facilities within the distribution system utilizing the SCADA system. Assume responsibility for manual water treatment operation during SCADA system failures.
* Determine scope and severity of system problems, which would require the attention of a supervisor and contact same.
* Ensure that the water quality from the treatment facilities meets or exceeds the requirements of the Federal Safe Drinking Water Act, the requirements of the State of Delaware, and Company standards.
* Collect samples and perform all routine chemical tests such as alkalinity; jar tests, pH, chlorine, fluoride, etc. as required to properly monitor the treatment process.
* Understand and interpret the results of said testing to make/suggest process adjustments to the water treatment system.
* Perform emergency operating procedures for the treatment plant.
* Keep proper operational and maintenance logs and records.
* Understand and/or perform standard operating procedures for filters, pump, and or other water treatment equipment.
* Regularly monitor SCADA to identify trends and detect emerging problems.
* Maintains good housekeeping procedures at the plant. Performs routine housekeeping chores and special housekeeping as required.
* Conducts safety inspections and follows all safety rules and procedures.
* Load and unloads chemicals used at the treatment plants.
* Performs operations in accordance with established SOPs and job safety standards.
* Understand the operation of the water treatment residuals system and operate as required.
* Perform maintenance duties per the online computer-based Work Order system via use of desktop computer or Ipad.
* Perform maintenance repairs of pumps, valves, piping, and chemical feed systems as appropriate.
* Respond to chemical spills and address as appropriate.
* Ensure that adequate quantities of chemical are available to meet treatment requirements and that chemicals are being fed at the proper rates.
* Maintain an awareness and practice safe operating procedures in conformance with OSHA Regulations and Company safety policies.
* Demonstrate commitment to public service and public health.
* All other duties as assigned or required.
Qualifications
Education/Experience/Background:
* High School Diploma/GED is required.
* One to three years minimum in the fields of water treatment, equipment/pump maintenance, chemical maintenance or similar required.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
* Ability to perform water quality tests and maintain various water treatment equipment.
* Ability to operate all equipment used in performing water treatment tasks.
* Excellent Written and oral communication.
* Understanding of Basic chemistry.
* Ability to work with peers as a team player.
* Perform maintenance and operational tasks of substantial variety and complexity without close technical supervision.
* Knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, chemical principles.

Job Overview
Operate a Landfill Gas to Renewable Natural Gas Plant “RNG” facility to maximize production. Operator will work closely with Plant Manager to conduct all plant routine and non-routine maintenance and repairs. The Operator will take ownership in plant performance and tackle challenges to help Operations Leadership achieve their goals. This is a hands-on role where a willingness to learn and commitment to safety culture will be crucial. Although this is a great role for an independent, self-motivated individual, you will not be alone! You will have an amazing team at your disposal to help you run problems to ground and actualize solutions. The plant will be managed and operated by three personnel - Plant Manager and two PlantOperators.
Reports To
The Operator reports to the Director of RNG Operations.
Location
The Operator position is based out of Rougemont, North Carolina (Plant). The candidate should take up residence within 50 miles of the Plant.
Travel may be required to other Plants or Corporate office locations.
Responsibilities and Duties
· Operate and maintain the Plant and all associated equipment in a safe, detailed, organized, and presentable manner. Tasks may include housekeeping, weeding, or site maintenance, minor fabrication and the like.
· Manage, diagnose, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems. Remote and onsite assistance is available for unresolved issues.
· Learn to maximize SCADA utilization for predictive and proactive operations and maintenance.
· Perform maintenance and repairs on all major and ancillary equipment. Balance of plant equipment may include but is not limited to: site vehicles, gas analyzers, air compressors, gas compressors, radiators, air handling equipment, pumps, filters, flares, gas treatment equipment, and other site-specific equipment.
· Use the Operational Data Management System (ODMS) to track and record events, operational data, and daily “walk around” readings.
· Understand, follow, and assist with compliance regulations for the Plant. This may include record keeping, gathering data, performing inspections, keeping permits posted, maintaining compliance equipment, and meeting with inspectors.
· Respond to Plant callouts in a timely and professional manner (typically considered within 2 hours).
· Assist with training of coworkers or temporary Operators at the Plant.
· Travel to assist Operators at other Plants, backup or fill in for another Operator, or for training.
· Use ESI's Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) where available. Recommend and assist in further SOP development.
· Maximize Plant efficiencies.
· Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements
· 1 - 5 years of Plantoperations and other related experience.
· Trade school certification, high school diploma or GED.
· Strong mechanical aptitude and background.
· Ability to read and understand basic Process Flow Diagrams and Electrical Schematics.
· Ability to use basic troubleshooting tools. i.e. Multimeters, Thermographic, Measurement and Gas Testing Equipment.
· Basic Windows based computer skills.
· Established troubleshooting skills.
· Experience in maintenance planning and preventative maintenance strategies.
· General working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of software. (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
· Must be able to work independently, self-motivate, and communicate effectively with the customer and ESI team members.
· 12 hour shifts required, with schedule rotating in accordance with team requirements and scheduling from the Plant Manager.
· Must be able to safely climb on and off ladders and large equipment and be capable of safely lifting and maneuvering heavy objects, including materials and equipment weighing up to 100 pounds with assistance from a team member.
· This role may require compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, including the following mandatory testing:
o DOT pre-employment drug test.
o Random drug and alcohol testing as per DOT regulations.
o Post-accident, reasonable suspicion, return-to-duty, and follow-up testing requirements.
· Valid driver's license for state of residence and eligibility for coverage under our corporate driver's insurance policy based on DMV history.
Preferred Qualifications
· Experience in some of or all the following industries: Renewable Energy; Gas Processing; Chemical; Power; Waste Management; Environmental Air Quality Control Systems.
· Instrumentation and Controls background (PLC, VFD, Electrical).
· Renewable Natural Gas Experience.
· Associates or Baccalaureate Degree.
· Formal training in Root Cause Analysis methodology.

Overview
The Texas Water Utilities team has an opportunity for a Water-Wastewater Operator II. This role is under general supervision, performs routine tasks related to the operation of water and/or wastewater treatment facilities. What You'll Do
Essential Functions
Operates and maintains water and/or wastewater treatment equipment, ensuring compliance with state and federal environmental protection limits.
Monitors and samples well and groundwater upon entry to the system. Adjusts treatment levels when below-standard variances are detected. Samples water prior to exiting system.
Detects and reports atypical conditions, such as: damaged, malfunctioning and tampered meters, detecting and reporting leaks, high/low consumption, exposed wiring and other safety hazards.
Conducts ongoing repairs to equipment, or shuts down equipment for more extensive maintenance and repair, activating alternate equipment as needed. Requests services of outside maintenance vendor for major repairs and overhauls.
Activates pumps, valves and other processing equipment to move water through various treatment processes. Disposes of waste materials removed from water in line with Company procedures and government controls.

What You'll Do
