Job Summary
Location: Stockton, CA
The person holding this position will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of all power plant equipment and assist with maintenance tasks as assigned. This position reports to the Operations Supervisor.
Key Accountabilities
* Performs all station shift operation and maintenance, including startup and shutdown of main plant components and auxiliaries
* Perform operations in accordance with established Standard Operating Procedures and job safety standards
* Respond to abnormalities and take corrective actions consistent with established operating procedures and good engineering practice
* Conducts routine tours of the plant to inspect equipment; record readings and provides feedback to other employees
* Complies with all site safety requirements and procedures. Identifies safety hazards and takes corrective actions as necessary
* Maintains accuracy of shift operating logs, records, time sheets, work orders and other administrative documents related to the power plant
* Performs routine cycle chemistry testing and makes the necessary adjustments to optimize efficiency. Checks daily consumption rates of chemicals, gasses, fuels, water, and other consumables; monitors inventories and initiates action to replenish when appropriate
* Performs plant switching and tagging of equipment in accordance with approved procedures and prudent operations and maintenance practices
* Performs electrical and mechanical inspections, troubleshooting, and maintenance tasks under direction of Management when assigned
* Investigates plant problems, incidents, accidents, and unusual events, and provides analyses, recommendations, reports, and appropriate follow-up plans
* Reads and records gauges and meters. Performs routine operational test and adjustments on all power plant systems and components, as required
* Develops, assists, and revises operations and maintenance related procedures
* Performs and maintains housekeeping standards and duties
* Performs routine preventive and predictive maintenance on all systems and equipment; supports corrective maintenance efforts on selected equipment when properly trained or supervised
* Becomes lead system representative on assigned systems
* Performs other duties necessary to fulfill plant requirements
* Displays routine proficiency improvements toward becoming qualified as an O&M Tech IV
* May be called upon to assist with the duties of the O&M Tech II
* Communicates with other company personnel on-site and at other locations. Represents the company in dealing with the public, steam and power customers, vendors, contractors, regulators, and other non-company personnel
* Assist other team members and works with all departments to support the operation in achieving its goals

The team operates around 50 sites in 32 states with a robust development pipeline.
About the role At our Northwest Tennessee Renewable Natural Gas Plant in Union City, TN, we convert landfill gas into pipeline quality natural gas (High Btu or Renewable Natural Gas).
Our Operations Technician operates the landfill gas processing facility.
We process the landfill gas by removing the majority of the non-methane components including CO2, water, sulfur and volatile and non-volatile organic compounds to attain pipeline quality.
The RNG Operator will operate and maintain Landfill gas to High BTU processing facility; which will include Guild gas process, Gas Compressors, CO2 removal system, Thermal-Oxidizers, and H2S removal systems.
We also perform intermediate to sophisticated level Instrument and Control repair, maintenance, calibration and solving.
This site's weekly schedule consists of four 10-hour days; there are two shifts Mon.
-Thurs.
or Tues.
-Fri 6am-4pm or 8am-6pm.
Must be available for on-call duty on a rotating basis.
The schedule is subject to change per business needs and management discretion.
Key accountabilities Own the safe operation of the plant during assigned shift in the most efficient and productive method to maintain compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) and prescribed safety and environmental standards.
Make periodic inspections of plant equipment to resolve accurate and normal operating conditions.
Check and record operational data such as fluid levels, temperatures and pressures, compare to trends and have the ability to make corrections as needed.
Review daily operating reports and other records to ensure specified operating characteristics in control of the plant equipment.
Perform preventive maintenance and solving on plant instrumentation and equipment.
Detect and correct faulty and malfunctioning mechanical and electrical components, devices and equipment.

Tackle and repair electrical system wiring from control wiring up to 480 volts.

Advise Lead Operation Technician and Regional Manager of shutdown or major changes in power output of unit.
Maintain all plant equipment and structures per manufactures and Archaea Energy guidelines.
Maintain a clean work space including the plant building, control room, rest room, break room and grounds.

The actual salary shall be determined by the final candidate's qualifications and experience. The annual salary range for the positions are presently as follows:
Wastewater Operations Foreperson I: $119,180.88 - $145,432.56
Wastewater Operations Foreperson II: $127,742.16- $155,872.08
The pay range listed above includes the five percent (5%) ongoing non-pensionable compensation pay.
The Environmental Services Department (ESD) manages the San Jose/Santa Clara Regional Wastewater Facility. Built in 1956, the Facility is a round-the-clock operation that cleans an average of 110 million gallons of wastewater per day and has the capacity to clean up to 167 million gallons per day. The Facility serves eight cities with 1.4 million residents and a business sector with more than 17,000 main sewer connections.
Our wastewater undergoes a sophisticated 10.5-hour treatment process that simulates the way nature cleans water. The Facility removes 99 percent of the impurities before the cleaned water is discharged into the South San Francisco Bay or recycled for other uses such as industrial processes, cooling towers, and flushing toilets.
The Facility is the largest advanced wastewater treatment facility in the western United States. Advanced (tertiary) level treatment is necessary to meet our region's strict state regulations for the shallow waters and sensitive ecosystem of the southern Bay.
Under the direction of the Operations Superintendent, I/II, the Wastewater Operations Foreperson I/II (Foreperson) provides technical oversight of the process area(s), the Facility control room, the Operations training Unit, and/or serves as shift Foreperson overseeing all the wastewater facility operations.
In the process area: The Foreperson provides process control and supervision within their area of responsibility, serves as back-up for Operators, when necessary, prepares for and responds to emergencies, develops standard operating procedures and coordinates maintenance interaction.
In the computer room: The Foreperson monitors and controls the automated operations of the wastewater facility. Forepersons supervise operating personnel assigned to shift or process area and are responsible for ensuring the safety of staff, providing performance management and feedback, training, scheduling, assigning or work, and providing feedback and recommendation for hiring.
In the role of Shift Foreperson: The Forepersons participate in a plant wide rotation which requires them to take on roles of control room operator, shift Foreperson (Supervisor), and managing a process area or assist in operations training. Control Room and Shift Foreperson positions typically work 12-hour shifts in a 24/7 environment while process area positions work straight days.
In addition, all Forepersons participate in and provide subject matter expertise in capital projects, and interdepartmental collaborations.

Minimum Qualifications
Wastewater Operations Foreperson I:
Experience: Demonstrated knowledge and experience in at least three (3) specific operational process areas at the San Jose/Santa Clara Regional Wastewater Facility or equivalent facility.
Licensing: Possession of a valid California State Water Resources Control Board Operator (SWRCB) Grade III Certificate and possession of a valid State of driver's license.
Wastewater Operations Foreperson II:
Experience:Demonstrated knowledge and experience in at least four (4) specific operational process areas at the San Jose/Santa Clara Regional Wastewater Facility or equivalent facility.
Licensing: Possession of a valid California State Water Resources Control Board Operator Grade IV Certificate and possession of a valid State of driver's license.

● Separates ion exchange resins as required

Join our team as a Part-Time Appointment Generator inside the Jackson Lowe's location, where you'll represent a top-tier water treatment company. Your mission: engage customers, educate them about water quality solutions, and set appointments for our expert consultants to follow up.

Full-time opportunities are available after a 90-day probation period based on performance.
What You'll Do:
Greet and engage Lowe's customers in a professional, approachable way
Briefly educate shoppers on the benefits of water treatment systems
Generate leads and set appointments for our water experts to visit homes
Keep accurate records of customer interactions and appointments
Maintain a clean, organized, and branded presence in the store
What We're Looking For:
Outgoing personality with strong communication skills
Comfortable approaching and speaking with new people
Reliable, self-motivated, and goal-oriented
Available to work weekends and some weekdays
Prior customer service or sales experience is a plus (but not required!)
