Duran Golf Club is hiring a part-time Maintenance Operator - Golf Course to be part of a dedicated team responsible for the care of one of the area's top golf courses. This role offers the chance to work in a vibrant outdoor environment while developing specialized skills in turf management and landscaping. It's a hands-on position that plays a key role in delivering the high-quality course conditions golfers expect from a premier facility.
Schedule:
Monday - Thursday: 5:30am-10:00am
Saturday: 5:30am-8:30am
Essential Responsibilities:
Operate turf mowing equipment to maintain all course areas, including greens, collars, approaches, tees, fairways, roughs, clubhouse surroundings, and common grounds across the property
Perform ball mark repairs on greens and fill divots on fairways and tee surfaces
Change hole locations, reposition tee markers, and maintain all on-course accessories
Rake and condition sand bunkers to ensure consistent playability
Edge and maintain bunkers, cart paths, curbs, and parking areas for a clean, professional appearance
Trim and groom areas around irrigation heads, valve boxes, and yardage markers
Assist with topdressing, verti-grooming, and verti-cutting of greens for optimal turf health
Remove loose debris and litter from the course to maintain a clean and safe environment
Rotate and position course signage, including directional markers, ropes, and stakes to guide cart traffic
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED
Valid Drivers License
Must be able to perform physical tasks including bending, stooping, walking, reaching, and lifting up to 50-75 lbs in various outdoor conditions
Strong communication skills with a positive and professional approach when interacting with colleagues, guests, and management
Previous experience in golf course maintenance is a plus, but not mandatory
Understanding of workplace hazards and adherence to safety protocols
Strong ability to collaborate and contribute to a team-oriented environment

Minimum Qualifications

Repair conveyor belts, feeders, and hydraulic systems.

The Water Mitigation Technician is the primary technician responding to requests for emergency mitigation services.

Job Duties:
Maintaining and monitoring equipment and vehicles
Conducting moisture readings and assessments
Creating and implementing drying plans
Following best practices and all IICRC S500 and S520 guidelines
Maintaining photographic and written documentation
Warehouse organization and maintenance
Job Requirements:
Applicants must be reliable, driven, and willing to be part of a team.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to follow detailed directions.
Ability to climb and work while on a ladder. Ability to regularly lift and carry 50 pounds, with the ability to lift and move 75 pounds.
Ability to work in physically demanding environment.
Basic understanding of technology and computer skills.
A valid drivers license and clean driving record are required.
Must have a clean criminal background (no felony convictions).
