Position Title: Supported Living Specialist (SLS)
SUMMARY:
The Supported Living Specialist provides and/or coordinates supports that are necessary to enable FRA participants to live as independently as possible. This includes assisting in the planning, implementing and documenting of the Plans of Care (POC's), ensuring the well-being, safety and quality of life of program participants, providing guidance and training that facilitates independence and recognizing and respecting the rights of the participant.

Summary of position: The primary purpose of this position is to be responsible for maintaining and setting up food production and quality control of all meat, fish, fowl, sauces, stocks, seasoning and all other food items prepared in the different kitchen stations to ensure that every dish is prepared to proper specifications in a timely and consistent manner. Ensure preparation, plating and presentation standards are maintained and safety standards and regulations are followed to provide the highest quality food standards and consistency. Also maintains the sanitation and maintenance of a safe work and food prep environment.
Qualifications:
* High school diploma or equivalent GED; prior hotel or hospitality experience preferred
* Demonstrate excellent organizational skills, communication skills, and problem-solving skills
* State Food Handlers required or ability to obtain one.
* Must be able to work evening shifts.
