About Us JKeys Design is a fast-growing sheet metal and plastics fabrication shop serving customers in aerospace, technology, and other advanced industries. We operate our CNC router, laser cutter, and press brake to produce precision parts. This role is well suited for someone early in their manufacturing or engineering career who wants real, hands-on experience and a clear path to advancement in modern CNC machining. What You'll Do Load, fixture, and secure sheet metal and plastic materials on our CNC router and laser cutter. Operate a CNC press brake to bend and form sheet metal parts per drawings and bend programs. Set machine origins (work offsets/zero points) and load CNC programs to run production jobs. Set up, change, and maintain basic tooling, dies, and fixtures. Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet drawings and specifications. Keep your workstation clean, organized, and safe. Track materials and log production and job details. Learn to identify and troubleshoot basic machine or process issues. Work independently on assigned jobs while collaborating with the team to meet production goals. As skills develop, there will be opportunities to assist with and eventually operate 5-axis CNC milling equipment. The Robotic Welder Operator works with little or no instruction in performing robotic welding of steel in various shapes, sizes, and thicknesses as needed for projects. Duties and Responsibilities: Programs, sets-up, and operates robotic welder. Builds or modifies tooling for product and new design. Complete fit-up of structure, pipe and accessories for vessels. Welds in multiple positions. Trains and mentor others. Identify various metals and alloys such as mild & high strength steel, aluminum, and stainless as well as identify structural shapes. Use measuring devices and gauges to determine thickness and size of metal. Use oxygen/acetylene torch for cutting metals. Use grinder and other hand or power tools required to grind, bevel, or fit metals together, and remove slag.
