    Job DescriptionSUMMARY Responsible for all activities associated with running the Flexo including setup, operation, cleanup, and recommending improvements to operations. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Set-up rails, print, and die cut section on Flexo accurately in accordance with proper setup techniques. Inspect all dies before and after a run to ensure that any necessary repairs are made before the next run. Ensure all bolts for cutting dies are in place and tightly secured. Monitor box quality, including, but not limited to, loose liner, warp, correct size, and print. Check anilox rolls for damage. Maximize the utilization of equipment by operating the machinery at available capacity and speed. Train and assist First Helper, Flexo Stacker, and Bundlers with job duties on the machine. Cross-train on other machines. Complete necessary reports in an accurate and timely manner, including but not limited to: Production Data, Machine Operational Status, Safety Data, Quality Data. Turn in maintenance work orders to supervision for needed repairs. Be proactive in the maintenance of equipment. Switch duties with First Helper as necessary. Safe operation of the production equipment in various production positions as assigned by the Supervisor. Reports to his Supervisor and proactively involves himself in identifying the defects in the manufacturing of the product and efficiently eliminates the root cause. Production Operators assist with set up, product and process equipment changeovers. Data collection and reporting into HMI's and or Production based computer programs such as SAP. Skills, Knowledge & ExpertiseWhat You Offer Us: Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preference given to those in the automotive, chemical, textile, plastics, or rolled goods industries. Willing and able to work in all areas of production - mixing, printing, inspection, operation. Basic computer proficiency. Willingness to adhere to environmental regulations and company procedures. Willing and able to move between one or more of the core processes at the discretion and or needs directed by the shift Supervisor. Willing and able to work overtime and weekends when required. What You'll Be Doing: * Setting up machines to start a production cycle. * Determining the fixtures, attachments, and tools necessary to complete jobs according to specifications and mount them to machine prior to beginning cutting. * Feeding raw material or parts to semi-automated machines. * Bonding magnetic components in specific orientations to a range of substrates. * Inspecting parts with precision measuring tools. * Inspecting finished products for accuracy and uniformity to ensure product quality and uphold company reputation. * Maintaining machine production logs. * Performing daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance tasks to ensure machine longevity, including but not limited to lubrication, cleaning, as well as coolant and tool replacement. * Maintaining a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. * Other Duties as assigned. We are looking for someone who: * Pays attention to detail. * Is self-motivated. * Possesses a high school diploma or GED equivalent. * Has experience with use of calipers, micrometers, indicators, set up blocks as well as a variety of gauges. * Has a willingness to help and fill in wherever needed. * Is able to provide clear and concise communication across multiple platforms. * Possesses strong analytical, communication and computer skills. Physical Requirements: * Must be able to pass a drug screening, medical physical and, if applicable, visual testing. * Able to move up to 50lbs. * Possesses manual dexterity to put parts or pieces together quickly and accurately. * Can wear PPE. * Comfortable standing for long periods of time, up to and exceeding 60 minutes. * Is capable of making repetitive movements including, but not limited to, sitting, squatting and walking up and down stairs.
