This role focuses on flight software, hardware integration, and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) efforts. The selected engineer will contribute to next-generation military aviation systems including avionics, embedded mission computing, and real-time networking architectures supporting the V-280's advanced capabilities. Responsibilities: Develop, integrate, and test flight software and embedded systems for next-generation tiltrotor aircraft. Implement and maintain requirements management and traceability tools across multiple system domains. Utilize Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methods and tools (e.g., Cameo) to design and verify system architectures. Perform software verification and validation in accordance with DO-178 standards. Support hardware/software integration with adherence to DO-254 certification practices. Develop and automate integration and test frameworks using C/C++, Python, and Microsoft Developer Studio. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support avionics design, tactical data link integration, and digital backbone network development. Author and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications, test procedures, and verification reports. Contribute to continuous improvement of software development, simulation, and testing methodologies across the flight systems lifecycle.     Popli Design Group (PDG) is seeking a Senior Substation Engineer to join our growing team. The Senior Substation Engineer is required to work within a multi-discipline team to design efficient and reliable electrical substations. The engineer will coordinate his/her design activities to maintain project schedules and ensure successful project completion. The engineer will also assist the Estimating Team in preparation of estimates and project proposals. Aside from engineering duties, PDG is looking for the incumbent to be able to provide a presence to our area clients. We are looking for someone to be our “face” to the client. Significant client face time and interaction is required. A strong business sense would be beneficial. This position is accountable to provide design activities in accordance with applicable codes and standards, including PDG's policies and procedures, such as Safety, Environmental, Quality Assurance and Quality Control. Specific duties include: Prepare conceptual design of the complex projects Carry out/review/analyze complex technical studies and project scopes Preparation of project specifications for material and equipment purchase and installation. Review the design based memorandum, detailed engineering scope and guide the assigned discipline engineers to align the engineering deliverables per project requirements. Work closely with peers to ensure accurate delivery and thorough electrical design that will meet industry standards and specifications, and meet good engineering practices. Design of electrical substation facilities including site and bus work layouts, ground grids, conduit layout, lightning protection, control house design, lighting studies, and metering. Review of internal and external designs for code compliance, good design practice and constructability. Resolving site queries, attending site meetings and performing site inspections during the construction phase of projects. Maintaining complete project documentation with respect to substation design and construction, including all completion packages, as-built requirements and return data information. Making and maintaining appropriate commitments to project teams and coordinating design activities with multi-disciplined project team members. Maintaining good working relationships with internal groups that support projects. Maintaining good working relationships with material suppliers, contractors, and any others that affect the quality, schedule and cost of projects. Mentoring and providing guidance to developing engineers within the department. Lead the development of design standards Required Skills Experience with Autodesk Inventor and Substation Design Suite (SDS) is a strong plus. Experience with WinIGS and CYMCAP is preferred Strong client focus. Knowledge of codes and standards such as IEEE and ANSI Experience/Education A degree Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution. Professional Engineering (PE) License A minimum of 7 years' experience in substation design.
