About the Role
As a Processor, you will provide document prep, scan, scan verify, and QA review to our client. Your assistance will make a positive difference in the organization you support.

Providing production services to client operations by performing administrative tasks such as document preparation, scanning, scan verification, and quality control.

Arrangement and Preservation:
Follow established processing plans developed by curators to organize, house, and arrange archival materials, identify preservation issues and other obstacles in processing projects.
Finding Aids: Create descriptions of archival materials according to archival theory and national and departmental standards, perform subject analysis and agent creation in finding aids, and remediating description to prepare materials for digitization.

Primary Purpose: The Processing Technician Manifestor I works under general supervision to learn the proper handling of all specimens received and prepares specimens for laboratory testing. This position involves manifesting shipments in ARUP's shipment tracking applications.

Handles and labels all specimens and paperwork appropriately.
Able to recognize and appropriate handle all specimen types per corporate and departmental procedure.

Properly documents the appropriate client provided information on specimen labels.
Ensures all appropriate identifiers are checked on all received specimens/paperwork and electronically. Must ensure all match and all specimens are labelled correctly.

Job Description
Job Title: Mortgage Loan Processor
Status: Full-Time (40-hours a week)
Reports to: Mortgage Operations Supervisor
Responsible for assisting mortgage loan officers and originators with the processing of mortgage loans. Processing includes verifying, compiling and reviewing information to ensure that files meet established standards in a timely manner. These loans may be held in portfolio or sold on the secondary market. Assists mortgage members as necessary with duties as assigned.
Essential Duties, Skills & Abilities
Exhibit outstanding member services skills by applying Granite Credit Union Service Standards and Core Values.
Complete and review residential loan application files according to established guidelines, including type and amount of mortgage, borrower assets, liabilities, and length of employment.
Collect information from third parties (VOE, VOM, VOR, VOD).
Call specified companies to obtain property title abstract, and survey. Review title and survey for discrepancies.
Submit mortgage loan application file for underwriting approval.
Submit approved mortgage loan file to mortgage loan closer for settlement. Send denial letters to applicants if necessary.
Effectively maintain a mortgage loan pipeline and meet turnaround requirements.
Record data on status of loans, including number of new applications, and loans approved, cancelled, or denied.
Demonstrates strong attention to detail to ensure high-quality work.
Ensure that all information and transactions regarding credit union members are kept confidential. Maintain the security of the work area and keep it organized and neat in appearance.
Maintain a professional and courteous attitude with all people, including fellow employees, members, management staff, board members, and outside vendors.
Attend meetings as required.
Other duties as assigned.
Must comply with all company policies and procedures, applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control.
Required Knowledge and Experience
1-2 years of similar or related experience.
Experience using a major Loan Origination System (LOS), specifically Encompass, for file management, disclosures, ordering third-party services, and closing.
Understanding of the foundation of determining credit worthiness.
Knowledge of Mortgage Investor selling guidelines and requirements.
Knowledge of laws and regulations such as Bank Secrecy Act, US Patriot Act, Fair Lending Act, TRID, RESPA, TIL, HOEPA, HMDA, CIP, FACTA and others pertaining to the mortgage industry.
Basic computer operating skills such as Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel, etc.
Education
High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

What You'll Do A Mortgage Loan Processor organizes the paperwork and documents pertaining to a mortgage loan. They are responsible for preparing disclosures, ordering appraisals, title work and escrow. Processors confirm data as compiled by the loan originator in SNMC's Loan Operating System.
Essential Functions:
To verify the borrower's information, Mortgage Loan Processors order credit reports, ,verify employment with the employer, review documentation provided by the borrower, title company, appraiser, real estate agent to support the following:
* Employment
* Income
* Assets
* Net worth
* Willingness to pay
* Property appraisal
* Property survey
In their final analysis of the loan, the Mortgage Loan Processor determines when the file is complete and ready for underwriting submission. The file is then submitted to the underwriting for underwriting of all the documentation prepared and reviewed by the processor.
* Review the loan package
Upon loan approval the Loan Processor will be responsible for coordinating the closing and funding of the loan with loan closer, loan originator, title, escrow and borrower.
