Complete and review residential loan application files according to established guidelines, including type and amount of mortgage, borrower assets, liabilities, and length of employment. Collect information from third parties (VOE, VOM, VOR, VOD). Call specified companies to obtain property title abstract, and survey. Review title and survey for discrepancies. Submit mortgage loan application file for underwriting approval. Submit approved mortgage loan file to mortgage loan closer for settlement. Send denial letters to applicants if necessary. Effectively maintain a mortgage loan pipeline and meet turnaround requirements. Record data on status of loans, including number of new applications, and loans approved, cancelled, or denied. Demonstrates strong attention to detail to ensure high-quality work. Ensure that all information and transactions regarding credit union members are kept confidential. Maintain the security of the work area and keep it organized and neat in appearance. Maintain a professional and courteous attitude with all people, including fellow employees, members, management staff, board members, and outside vendors. Attend meetings as required.
