Infinera is the global supplier of innovative networking solutions. Our customers include the leading service providers, data center operators, internet content providers (ICPs), cable operators, enterprises, and government agencies worldwide, including: 9 of the top 10 Tier 1 service providers and 6 of the top 7 ICPs.

The product manager will be part of the Infinera PLM team developing optical product solutions, with a functional expertise in Layer 0 DWDM Optical networking and transmission technology.

Responsible to define upcoming product/solution releases and roadmap based on interaction with sales, R&D and lead customers. Infinera's optical solution consists of a multitude of

product elements such as optical line amplifiers, traffic cards, switches and filters together with supporting Software elements. The product manager will take subject matter ownership of specific products in our overall offering.

Another aspect of the role is sales support and business development supporting market introduction of above products.
Responsibilities
Delivers key contributions to define and drive Infinera's optical business and future evolution Interacts with all key stake holders in R&D, supply chain, and sales Interacts with optical component vendors, standard organizations and MSA bodies Interacts with lead customers Identifies and defines applications with highest value, including support of RFP process Enables and supports Infinera sales and during market introduction phase Develop and deliver content for sales and marketing materials and conduct Sales TrainingDefine product requirements that shapes Infinera's value proposition Evaluates return-of-invest scenarios and business cases Evaluates Competitor benchmarks and Infinera Solution values versus the benchmarks

Experience and requirements
8 or more years of experience as a Product Manager, System Architect of similar technology position in the optical communication industry Experience in customer interaction Experience on optical networking architectures across DCI, communication service provider (CSP), cable MSO, wireless, and/or other optical segments is required.Ability to address problems and topics outside of direct experience, abstract and understand and communicate content, natural problem solver Ability to work independent and self-organized Ability to work in a distributed team and in international environment Ability to work flexible and deviate from initial plans, outcome focused Ability to contribute to and shape business with fundamentally new technology / architecture Very good communication and networking skills.Strong presentation skills (including management and customer presentations, conference talks and plenum discussions) Requires Travel

The Director, Product & Underwriting, Financial Lines Public D&O & Cyber will be responsible for product management & development and portfolio underwriting of assigned product(s) and acting as subject matter expert. Specific responsibilities include:

Review, draft and maintain the suite of policy forms and corresponding endorsement libraries within the area of expertise and assigned product responsibilities. Provide recommendations to keep products current and appropriate for industry needs (competitiveness, profitability and compliance). Continuously research the competitive landscape, economic, industry, product, actuarial trends, risk assessment and financial metrics to determine recommendations for new product/coverage opportunities and strategies. Provide thought leadership in area of expertise, including drafting white papers and first alerts, and participating on industry panels. Develop and maintain underwriting guidelines and underwriting authority. Provide internal and external training and collaborate with peers and UW community. Work closely with senior leaders and stakeholders throughout the organization to develop and implement underwriting strategies to achieve performance goals, identify trends, and develop recommendations for improvement, as needed. Advance pricing and portfolio segmentation for portfolio analysis and shaping. Support underwriting on key business initiatives and maintain relationships throughout the organization to support multi-disciplinary problem solving and execution and input across all levels of the business. Develop insight into competitors' strengths, weaknesses and strategies and leverage to drive profitable business and increased market penetration.
Qualifications:
7+ years' experience within P & C Specialty Lines; focus and expertise in product and underwriting for Financial Lines Public D&O & Cyber strongly preferred Superior understanding of Product Management & Product Development, inclusive of policy form development, product filings and interaction with actuaries and reinsurers.Strong understanding of all aspects of underwriting execution Ability to use data and analytics to understand and drive underwriting strategy Understanding of financial concepts Strong project management, negotiation, influencing, legal and analytical skills Ability to absorb multi-disciplinary input and translate into effective actions Superior communication skills, both oral and written Ability to collaborate to drive effective partnerships and deliver outcomes Leadership and mentoring skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Demonstrate a talent to motivate and inspire team employees and cross functional teams Bachelor's degree strongly preferred

Compensation
The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions in the external market. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of The Hartford's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition. The annualized base pay range for this role is:

$123,280 - $184,920

Job Description BAE Systems, ES, CEMA is recruiting for a Product Line Operations Director. In this role, you will work with the Product Line Leadership to ensure manufacturing and supply chain aspects of programs in the portfolio are executed efficiently and to the satisfaction of internal and external customers. You will oversee strategy, proposal preparation, planning, coordination, and execution of all manufacturing operations to ensure delivery of quality products to prime and government customers. You will create capacity and capability plans for current and forecasted work and provide strategic leadership with emphasis on long-range planning for manufacturing aspects of the CEMA portfolio, working closely with Program Management, Engineering, Quality, Finance and Contracts. You will work closely with the Product Stream Managers, Technical Operations and Supply Chain teams supporting the product line.
Essential Functions

* Set departmental goals and objectives consistent with the Product Line business plan.
* Management of operations, including staffing, budgeting, production planning, procurement, manufacturing, and logistics.
* Ensure that all operations are conducted in conformance with all quality, safety and environmental requirements.
* Ensure that the products produced for the customer meet all specification requirements and are delivered on time.
* Provide Manufacturing support to Engineering, Quality, Continuous Improvement, etc.
* Develop long-range planning for utilization of the manufacturing facilities.
* Drive continuous improvement within the Product Line, teach best practices across the organization.
* Maintain a strong, team relationship across the business and customers.
* Mentor staff and develop robust succession plans.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills Experience/Education

Bachelor's or Master's Degree from an accredited University in technology, operations or supply chain with experience in management of production operations.

Skills/Knowledge

Must have ability to work in a team environment and manage multiple tasks concurrently.

Must be able to plan for production requirements and assess overall resource requirements to meet customers' demands.

Proficient in Microsoft Office software.

Ability to think creatively and demonstrate exceptional organizational and management skills.

Good oral and written communications skills.Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills Understanding of Military Specifications and BAE Systems policies and processes.

Technical background preferred.
