Available Shifts: ?1st Shift OWW (12-hr shifts) - $18/hr. 2nd Shift (3p-11p) - $18/hr. + $2.10/hr. shift diff = $20.10/hr. Responsibilities: Wash and set mold lines for robot dipping as indicated on daily department schedule Data input into computer terminal during preparation of dip lines Maintain, transfer or scrap out slurry mixes and etch tanks as indicated in department SOP, PEI Clean and maintain rotary and Shell O Matic sanders as production and process control scheduling dictates Notify Process Control whenever problems arise relative to the shell building process. This includes the verification of incoming materials (including entry into data material terminal), as well as the physical building of the mix Become licensed to operate a towmotor and hand lift truck Daily upkeep of the mold prep, dip room, and ceramic storage areas Follow plant safety rules Maintain various equipment and zone logs per departmental SOP's Strict compliance to all SOP's and PEI's including temporary procedures and scrap reporting Must be willing to work flexible hours and overtime Sand blasting of components associated with the dipping process Strong written and verbal communication skills are a definite plus Job involves some heavy lifting and climate varies from pleasant to extreme Relieve Robot Operator for breaks and lunches (after training period) Will accumulate and handle hazardous waste Cross-Train as Foundry Service Helper to back-fill for vacations/call-offs, etc. Comply with all applicable Standard Operating Procedures Perform all other duties assigned by supervision Requirements: Demonstrate proficiency of applicable procedure instructions Meet or exceed defined visual acuity (when required) Meet color perception standards needed in performance of job requirements (when required) Additional training to comply with applicable SOP/Certificates (when required)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties as assigned) Operates multiple robotic sanding cells with the loading and unloading of helmets to maximize robot time sanding while also ensuring quality. Identify helmet models to be sanded and correctly set the machine fixturing to ensure quality sanding. Load and unload helmets from the fixturing proplerly. Organize and maintain the machine fixturing so that they can be easily found as needed. Operate the computer controls of each cell to select the proper program for the paint color being sanded. Load the robot sanding tool as needed with the proper sand paper grit per the program running. Change the interface pads and backup pads on each cell running as needed to maintain quality sanding. Identify and communicate issues quickly to the GrayMatter Team using the Hot Line and the Team Viewer communication tool. Communicate issues immediately to Team Leader and Supervisor.
