SUMMARY

The Supervisor, Servicing Operations is responsible for leading the Operational Support team to ensure optimal production within the business unit, functional area or department which may include Records, Deposit & Payment Processing, Account Servicing and Card Services. The incumbent supervises the administrative and operational functions, while ensuring compliance and quality control of the business unit's operations program. The Supervisor, Servicing Operations manages the ongoing development and implementation of standards, policies and processes as well as provides ongoing quality assurance-related support.

RESPONSIBILITIES

* Perform all responsibilities in accordance with BECU Competencies, compliance, regulatory and Information Protection requirements.
* Manage operational aspects of the department and lead efforts related to employee development, system enhancements and process improvements.
* Serve as a subject matter resource, point of escalation and mentor by maintaining a high level of product and service knowledge and related processes and procedures while ensuring compliance with respective agencies.
* Ensure compliance with the various federal, state and other regulatory agencies that relate to areas of responsibility and coordinate with other credit union personnel, departments and interested 3rd parties as needed.
* Provide support for audit related inquiries as well as assist with ongoing review and maintenance of department records in compliance with their respective agencies.
* Analyze results from member satisfaction and loyalty survey programs to identify member needs and expectations and implement actions to address any areas of concern.
* Provide ongoing coaching, mentoring and training of direct reports to develop and encourage employee performance. Meet with direct reports on a timely basis for the purpose of conducting performance evaluations and feedback sessions. Discuss and review job growth planning with team.
* Maintain the necessary operational audit and/or management information reporting that may be required of the program, to include keeping statistical records as necessary.
* Ensure that written procedures are documented for all functions within the area of responsibility, and update as necessary.
* Manage departmental file archiving processes while adhering to compliance and retention policies.
* Provide backup team support as needed.
* Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

* Associate's degree in business required, or equivalent work or education related experience.
* Minimum of two years of supervisory experience within the relevant industry required.
* Minimum three years of experience within the relevant industry required.
* Prior experience in developing and managing budgets.
