Job Title: Polymerization Operator
Employment Type: Full-Time Pay: Starting $16 after three months bumped to $20.50hr+ dependent on performance.
Expected Hours: 36 48 hours per week
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Polymerization Operator. This position is responsible for performing assigned tasks in the production of materials on various lines, ensuring quality products and a safe, cost-effective operation while working with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
Execute tasks required in the production of materials on Line A and B Systems to support production needs.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols while performing all tasks in a timely manner.
Monitor utilities (HTM, cooling water, steam system, air, chilled water, and demineralized water) and record necessary information.
Ensure proper sampling, labeling, and packaging of finished products.
Load feedstock as required (e.g., acid vessels, dissolvers).
Make corrective adjustments to equipment and utilities as directed by the shift supervisor to maintain process conditions.
Monitor and document all process conditions as required.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
Education and Experience:
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Mechanical aptitude and general knowledge of hand tools.
Ability to grasp and retain instructions effectively.
Strong communication skills to interact with operators and supervisors.
Physical Requirements & Work Environment:
Ability to work rotating swing shifts.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 20 kg repetitively.
Comfortable climbing and descending ladders and steps.
No fear of heights or confined spaces.
Routine safety equipment required: long sleeves, respirator, safety shoes, hearing protection, safety glasses.
