At Midland States Bank, base salary is one component of our Total Rewards program. Exact compensation is determined by factors such as (but not limited to) education, skills, internal equity, and experience. This position offers additional compensation in the form of short-term incentives (i.e. bonus and/or commission) and may include long-term incentives (i.e. stock awards). Position Summary
The Service Center Engineer - I.A.M. Intern will gain hands-on experience in the areas of Identity Access Management (I.A.M.) and Information Security. This role offers exposure to the tools, processes, and governance practices used to manage digital identities, system access, and security permissions across the organization. Working closely with the IT team, the intern will contribute to access control projects, automation initiatives, and documentation improvements that strengthen the bank's cybersecurity framework.
Primary Accountabilities
Participate in the Access Review Campaign, assisting with analysis, tracking, and reporting.
Support the automation of onboarding and offboarding processes to improve efficiency and compliance.
Help update and improve documentation and workflows for identity and access management operations.
Analyze access patterns and permissions to identify potential anomalies or risks.
Gain hands-on exposure to Identity Governance and Administration (IGA), Access Management (AM), and Privileged Access Management (PAM) systems.
Collaborate with the IT Service Center team to understand and assist with day-to-day I.A.M. functions.
Participate in mentorship sessions focused on security concepts, compliance, and governance.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Maintain compliance with all applicable regulations including, but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA).
Position Qualifications
Education/Experience:
Currently enrolled in an Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field of study.
Strong interest in I.A.M., IT Security, or Service Center operations.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Teams).
Demonstrated initiative and eagerness to learn new technologies.
Internship Details:
Internship duration: Must be available mid-May through late July 2026.

The Park DevelopmentInternship is a structured, extended-term internship designed for upper-level college students pursuing degrees in Landscape Architecture, Urban Planning, or related fields that require long-term practical experience.
Under the direction of the Park Planning & Development Manager, this apprenticeship provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on, professional-level experience in park design, planning, and construction project management. Apprentices will actively contribute to projects that shape the future of Wentzville's park system while bridging the gap between academic learning and professional practice.
Essential Job Duties
General Responsibilities
* Provide technical and administrative support for park development projects across multiple disciplines.
* Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation to communicate project progress and outcomes.
* Attend staff and stakeholder meetings to contribute to planning and collaboration efforts.
* Ensure assigned tasks are completed on time, within budget, and in alignment with City standards.
* Provide professional, respectful service in all interactions with staff, contractors, and community members.
* Maintain compliance with City and departmental policies, procedures, and safety standards.
Landscape Architecture & Design
* Prepare detailed planting and irrigation plans with accuracy and adherence to regional standards.
* Create 3D visualizations and renderings using tools such as CAD, Photoshop, Lumion, and SketchUp.
* Conduct field verification of existing site conditions and translate findings into design updates.
* Research and recommend sustainable design solutions, including native plant palettes and stormwater strategies.
* Collaborate on presentation materials for elected officials, commissions, and public engagement events.
* Learn to perform survey and staking tasks for internal construction projects.
Park Planning & Development
* Assist in drafting long-range master plan components, including maps, analysis, and narrative sections.
* Support public engagement efforts through survey creation, visual materials, and workshop presentations.
* Evaluate development proposals and parkland acquisitions, preparing staff-level recommendations.
* Contribute to grant applications, including writing narratives, compiling budgets, and preparing attachments.
* Maintain and update GIS-based inventory datasets for capital planning and environmental stewardship.
Project Management
* Track project budgets, schedules, and deliverables, and assist in variance reporting.
* Coordinate with contractors and consultants on submittal reviews and minor RFIs.
* Document project progress through photography, field notes, and journals.
* Support issue and risk management by maintaining active project logs.
* Conduct site inspections and report on grading, planting, and accessibility compliance.
CADD & Technical Design
* Prepare construction drawings (site, grading, drainage, planting, hardscape) with minimal corrections required.
* Integrate survey data and as-built conditions into CAD/GIS systems.
* Produce technical specifications and details for smaller park improvement projects.
* Maintain consistent file standards and data management across CAD, GIS, and Adobe platforms.
* Develop composite mapping products overlaying zoning, utilities, and environmental data to support planning.
Ancillary Duties
* Follow all City and departmental procedures to meet operational and project goals.
* Provide timely progress updates to supervisors.
* Perform other related duties as assigned.

Sensient Colors LLC is looking for a Food Science - R&D Intern. This exciting role will work in our Color Service Lab (CSL) and will provide support for the CSL team Application Scientists. CSL support will be in the areas of sample preparation, lab trials, pilot plant support, and new product development trials.
The internship will be based out of our St. Louis facility near downtown St. Louis. Position is a paid internship.
What You'll Do:
Provide assistance with sample preparation for samples sent to customers for evaluation, and assistance with sample preparation to evaluate new raw materials.
Conduct lab trials under the direction of Application Technologists to support application projects.
Conduct trials using pilot plant equipment to support new product development.
Write reports as required to document findings from trials or projects. Participate in all staff meetings.
Performs other duties as assigned. Build and maintain relationships with employees and colleagues in a professional and personable manner adhering to the highest degree of professional standards and strict confidentiality on matters that require discretion.
What You'll Bring:
Minimum status of a junior level and working toward a four-year degree program preferably in Food Science, Chemistry or Biology. A minimum 3.0 overall GPA is required.
Basic lab knowledge and skills are a must. This includes, but is not limited to knowledge and the ability to measure characteristics such as pH, viscosity, solids, etc.
Knowledge of various lab equipment such as a Colorimeter and a Spectrophotometer is a plus.
Excellent proficiency in verbal and written communication. Ability to maintain confidential and sensitive information. Able to deliver effective and accurate results and meet deadlines.
Able to work independently and as part of a team on a broad variety of projects.
Good professional appearance and demeanor. Good judgment and decision-making skills. Well-organized, detail-oriented and a self-starter. Ability to execute, multi-task and thrive in an extremely fast paced, high growth environment.
