This position is responsible for overall management direction for HVAC / Plumbing projects. Responsible for all phases of the construction project including but not limited to managing employees, subcontractors, owner relations, quality control, safety, schedule and executing to the project budget.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, direct, and coordinate all activities for the projects assigned to ensure objectives are accomplished safely within prescribed funding and scheduling parameters.
Monitor and control project(s) budget and schedule.
Prepare and report project(s) costs, progress, and forecasts.
Establish and execute project work plans.
Maintain open communication channels with clients, permitting agents, or other stakeholders.
Manage pay applications, Requests for Information, Purchase Orders, Submittals, Change Orders, Claims, Request for Proposals, Request for Qualifications, and any other required project related communication.
Coordinate with Operations Manager and General Superintendent the allocation of shared resources such as personnel and equipment.
Serve as company representative at required project meetings and prepare documentation, as necessary.
Perform in depth review of all essential elements of projects assigned to identify challenges to mitigate or opportunities to realize.
Supervise work performed to ensure it meets company standards and quality plan.
Review drawings and specifications for constructability, completeness, and accuracy.
Supervision of Project Coordinators and Foremen, as assigned.
Promptly respond to project ad-hoc needs.
Enforce safety policies and procedures.
Ensure all on-site compliance with project procedures, safety program requirements, work rules and company policies.
Apply expert level knowledge in commercial HVAC and plumbing, materials, equipment, and risk management.
Regular attendance is required according to company policy to ensure crews can operate at a normal efficiency level.

Respond to customer solicitations and provide to the manufacturing and production control departments all necessary documentation and information needed to efficiently complete the requirements of a customer contract.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Review and respond to request for quotes to improve overall quality, productivity and understanding of customer requirements.
Create routers for tools and cost-effective routing through the shop, identifying ways for expediting product where possible.
Provide technical assistance to supervision and machinists/fabricators with questions pertaining to the manufacturing process.
Identify fixturing and special tooling needs as required.
DESIRABLE KNOWLEDGE/EDUCATION
High school diploma or GED required.
Advanced level of experience in an engineering role that builds a product via CNC machines or through highly advanced fabrication.
Preference is given for this experience in a defense or aerospace industry.
DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE/SKILL
Exceptional problem solving, troubleshooting skills, attention to detail and accuracy required.
Excellent communication skills with ability to work with people at levels of the organizational.
Working knowledge of GD&T and blueprint reading is required.

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will have the opportunity to lead and execute cost savings projects that are directly tied to key strategic goals for the business.
Roles and Responsibilities
As an Manufacturing Engineer, you will have the opportunity to make an impact by:
Promoting safety as the most important value in the organization by contributing through training, process improvement and other environmental, health, and safety responsibilities
Documenting standard processes and procedures for implementation and training
Developing and implementing production/processing methods and controls to meet quality standards in the most cost efficient manner.
Providing support to manufacturing to resolve production and quality issues that arise on a day-to-day basis
Working with machine repair team members to analyze root cause and define corrective actions for future preventive maintenance
Conducting technical inspections of complex machines
Recommending and implementing improvements and/or modifications in sequence of operations, equipment utilization, and related matters
Evaluating and approving design changes, specifications and drawing releases
Partnering with the Manufacturing Engineering Manager to develop and execute projects that are a part of the Identifications Enterprise Lean Sigma journey
Managing special projects; which could include supplier relationships, production performance management, sustainability, and other ad hoc projects
Setting project schedules by monitoring project progress, coordinating activities, and solving problems
Defining requirements for new equipment validation run-off
Preparing new machines and production equipment for operation
Optimizing direct and indirect manufacturing labor and in-plant material flow through the use of industrial engineering methods including line balancing, time studies, as well as both in-plant and external material flow
Designing and planning equipment layouts
Qualifications
To set you up for success in this role, Avery Dennison requires the following qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in related field (Engineering, Mechanical/Industrial) or 2-4 years of experience in an engineering function in a manufacturing environment
Knowledgeable in Electronic Systems (wire diagrams, schematics, PLC logic .. ect.)
Knowledgeable in Mechanical Systems (Cams, Torque requirements, ect.)
Excellent math and analytical skills
Excellent communication and organization skills with an emphasis on detail
Understanding of process documentation and improvement
Proficiency with applicable computer systems, such as Microsoft Office and Google Apps (mail, docs, sheets, slides, forms)
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed in this role are as follows:
Working experience in Oracle E-Business Suite R12
Proficient creating 3D models and 2D prints using Solidworks or related CAD software.
Proficient in AutoCAD 2D for facility layout planning
High-energy, self-directed, self-starter
Ability to execute multiple projects with minimal supervision
Ability to work comfortably in a dynamic, fast-paced, and matrixed organization
