    We are adding to our Pharmaceutical Quality Control Chemistry Staff. We are currently seeking entry level individuals to: Perform analytical testing of raw material, in-process product, final product release and stability testing. Clear documentation of test activities in approved worksheets and laboratory notebooks. Execute mathematical calculations as outlined in test methods. Assess data to determine if the material tested meets specifications. Peer review of quality control data. Participate in investigational testing and assist with root cause analysis. Create and review SOP s and author Change Controls. Other general lab related duties as necessary. We are seeking individuals with: Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, or related field One to two years' experience with hands on testing such as pH, titrations, determination of physical appearance, UV, IR and other wet chemistry tests. Instrumentation work with KF, HPLC, and GC, including instrumentation software a plus. Hands-on analytical chemistry experience Prior success working with regulatory, USP, GLP, GDP, and cGMP requirements. Ability to use Microsoft Suite of tools. Pharmaceutical experience a plus.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: * Support production by verifying cycle, process, calibration and part conformance to customer specifications. Prepare data, graphs, orders, logs and certifications for customers and management. Maintain files for part/process conformance & customer specifications. * Notify Production & QA Management of non-conforming product on timely basis to avoid it being shipped or run in next operation. * Make checks on loads in process as needed/required * Review furnace/equipment charts for accuracy and compliance to requirements. * Prepare certs/ cert packages per customer requirements and review for compliance * Perform hardness testing as required by customer requirements and review for compliance * Verify hardness and pyrometry calibrations/surveys are maintained to requirements. * Perform order writing as required, mainly on the off shift. * Send random samples of braze materials for cert verification. Collect results and compare. Report all non-conformances to Braze/Production Management. * Answer phones as needed, either handling the call or sending it to the proper authority. * Prepare all records with accuracy, neatness, & completeness that allows for future reviews. * Assure all records generated are filed properly and maintained * Handle log-in & closure of Reject Reports - consistent with the CAIR flow chart. Handle needed Customer contacts for reject reports and production issues. * Maintain needed reference/QMS record materials such as furnace charts, specs, requirements, logs. * Updating specification matrixes, completing customer documentation notice packets, and submit new specs for CHQ or internal review. * Identify, document, & maintain new or changed certification/cert packet special requirements per customer * Customer contact as required by leader or management. * Assure important/key information is shared with other quality people to maintain QC objectives & goals.
