Three to five years of quality inspection and/or production experience preferably in a fast paced automotive environment. Ability to utilize inspection equipment such as calipers, micrometers, CMM, height gauge, Vision Systems and other measuring devices. ISO, and/or TS16949 environment preferred. Good computer skills. Ability to input data and effectively utilize programs such as Microsoft Office to develop reports. We are seeking an experienced Distribution Quality Inspector with a lineman/powerline background and 10-15 years of industry experience. This role is instrumental in ensuring the safety, compliance, and reliability of distribution systems, including power lines, substations, and related equipment. The ideal candidate will bring extensive field knowledge, a strong understanding of the National Electric Safety Code (NESC), and proven expertise in quality inspection, safety oversight, and mentoring. Key Responsibilities Quality Inspections: Lead inspections of power lines, transformers, substations, and distribution assets to ensure compliance with regulations and standards. Safety Oversight: Enforce safety practices, conduct safety audits, and initiate team training programs. Defect Identification: Identify and document defects or non-compliance issues; recommend corrective actions with severity assessments. Testing & Measurement: Operate advanced diagnostic and measurement tools for in-depth evaluation of distribution assets. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate inspection records (photos, measurements, test results) and prepare detailed reports for stakeholders.
