This position is located on-site in Sedro-Woolley, Washington State.
There is a $2 shift differential for all hours worked on the swing shift, $3 for weekday grave and weekend day shifts, and $5 for weekend grave shift.
POSITION DESCRIPTION
The Production Technician will perform a variety of duties and multiple uses of different skillsets. This work involves the wet-lay of composite fabric, flow media and resin to create industry tooling, knowledge of vacuum integrity, spray foam, putty and/or chop application, Duratec prep and application, sanding, grinding, and aerospace tool finishing are additional job functions. Production Technicians at all levels are required to follow directions carefully, have basic mechanical knowledge, manual dexterity, good eyesight and the ability to perform repetitive tasks.
The following essential job functions are performed as a Production Technician:
* Reads, interprets, and follows pass downs, work orders, isometric drawings, blueprints, work instructions and other technical and non-technical documents.
* Receives and carries out directions from designated supervisors.
* Participates in training, safety, and quality programs.
* Keeps work orders stamped, dated and organized.
* Attention to detail and quality is required
* Identifies and obtains equipment, tools and materials needed to properly perform job function.
* Follows Janicki Industries Rules and Safety Practices and keep work areas clean and organized.
* Follows 5S, AS9100 and Nadcap standards and practices throughout all work performed.
* Sets up scaffolding and safety barriers under direction
* Properly executes Hazardous Material Disposal activities
* Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly, FOD free condition
* Knowledge and use of common hand tools
* Works in other Cells to support Production as required, ie; Mill or Assembly Cells
QUALIFICATIONS
* Due to our ITAR and EAR regulations, applicants must be a US Citizen or of Legal Permanent Resident Status as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b (a) (3).
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
* Prior experience in composite or fiberglass fabrication and repair is preferred
* High School diploma or GED required
* Must have the ability to read, understand and follow work orders, written procedures, blueprints, drawings, and other technical documents
* Must have effective verbal and written communication skills in the English language
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
* Wage range for this role is between $20 - $45 an hour plus a discretionary bonus, 401(k) matching, vacation, and health benefits. Employees can also receive additional pay for off-shifts, off-site work, and access pay. The range provided is Janicki's estimate of the base compensation for this role. Actual amount offered will be based on job-related and non-discriminatory factors such as experience, location, education, training, skills, and abilities

The QA Technician is Northline's rotating QA and food safety lead at partner co-processing facilities. This hands-on role ensures compliance with Northline's food safety, traceability, labeling, yield, and sanitation standards. The technician enforces GMPs, executes sampling protocols, logs data in data repositories (including Inecta ERP), supports vendor training, and escalates corrective and preventative actions (CAPAs) during active processing runs. This is a temporary position; however, candidates who are interested in and willing to spend approximately six weeks in Alaska during the summer season may be considered for permanent employment after a probationary period.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Act as QA lead during remote co-processing events (e.g., Bellingham, Vancouver, Fraser Valley, Alaska).
Conduct on-site inspections to verify compliance with Northline's specifications and regulatory standards (HACCP, BRC, FDA/CFIA, NOAA, WDFW, PSC).
Capture QA data and observations in real time via ERP and digital trackers.
Interface with plant staff; recommend corrective actions or escalate shutdowns if required.
Perform sampling, temperature checks, sanitation validation (ATP swabs/test kits), and packaging integrity reviews.
Track yields (whole round → H&G → fillet → portion) and document defect ratios.
Train vendors on GMPs, traceability, and Northline-approved QA workflows.
Document deviations and escalate open CAPAs to QA leadership.
Provide inspection reports on compliance, improvements, and cross-border readiness.
Other duties as assigned.
SUCCESS METRICS
100% completion of QA reports for co-processing runs.
Immediate escalation of deviations and CAPA follow-through.
Verified traceability for every processed lot.
Reduction in defect rates and customer complaints.
Improved vendor compliance through training and feedback loops.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
1-2+ years in QA/QC for seafood or cold-chain food manufacturing.
Knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, sanitation, labeling, and U.S./Canada seafood export requirements.
Must have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and a valid passport for travel to Canada.
Comfortable working in cold, high-volume production settings.
Proficiency with digital QA =tools, ERP systems (Inecta preferred), and portable test equipment.
Strong communication skills; able to enforce standards with vendors across cultures.
HACCP certification is strongly preferred.
Bilingual is a plus (English/Spanish, Tagalog, Vietnamese, or Russian).

Qualifications:

· 1+ years of experience in Quality Control/Quality Assurance in a manufacturing environment preferred.
· Strong understanding of inspection methods and use of basic measurement tools.
· Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical documents.

General Job Description
Dogwood Industries LLC is seeking an experienced Quality Control Inspector (QCI) to join our team in Sedro-Woolley, WA. A successful candidate will be experienced in inspection procedures in an industrial setting and will demonstrate an understanding of quality control procedures and key elements of the inspection process and documentation thereof.
Duties & Responsibilities
The core responsibility of the QCI is to inspect and report non-conformances in accordance with drawings, inspection checklists or other specifications identified in the quality assurance plan. Daily, the QCI may be engaged in these activities:
* Identify defective or non-conforming work
* Issue reports and document resolution of non-conforming conditions
* Execute and document specific test plans
* Maintain and distribute accurate drawings and red line corrections
* Maintain quality control records, documents, and logs
* Perform incoming material inspections and vendor inspections when required

Dogwood Industries LLC is seeking an experienced Quality Control Inspector (QCI) to join our team in Sedro-Woolley, WA. A successful candidate will be experienced in inspection procedures in an industrial setting and will demonstrate an understanding of quality control procedures and key elements of the inspection process and documentation thereof.
Duties & Responsibilities
The core responsibility of the QCI is to inspect and report non-conformances in accordance with drawings, inspection checklists or other specifications identified in the quality assurance plan. Daily, the QCI may be engaged in these activities:
Identify defective or non-conforming work
Issue reports and document resolution of non-conforming conditions
Execute and document specific test plans
Maintain and distribute accurate drawings and red line corrections
Maintain quality control records, documents, and logs
Perform incoming material inspections and vendor inspections when required
Perform first article, visual and dimensional checks at all stages of production
