Essential Job Functions: The primary responsibilities of the FuelGuard Service Technician will include (but are not limited to): Operate and maintain mobile Fuel Filtration equipment (company truck with trailer attached). Ability to pull 2" hoses full of fluid in lengths of varying from 16' to 50', drop them down 16' or more in a tank and move them around to sweep the bottom of the tank. Know how to operate electric generators or compressors and pumps. Ability to pull a STP that consists o f a motor head, up to 16' feed pipe with a Motor to the bottom which weighs approx. 70 lbs. needs to be removed and placed to the side during cleanings. Job Description The CI Electrical & Instrumentation Technician will repair, maintain, improve, and install new associated plant equipment for the process and water treatment plants in line with achieving our performance objectives. Key Tasks and Responsibilities: Troubleshoot and repair AC & DC circuits and control equipment Troubleshoot and repair single phase motors and three phase electrical systems Troubleshoot various input elements of control loop, including pressure, temperature, density, mass and flow measurement devices Troubleshoot various final control elements of control loop, including discrete and continuous devices Tune operation of control loops Perform PLC troubleshooting and correction Use of Megger, Multi Meter, Rotation Meter, Power Quality Meter Troubleshoot Guided Wave and Non-Contacting Radar Troubleshoot and repair VFD Troubleshoot and Maintain Soft Starts as well as Across the Line Able to use proper PPE; Arc Flash protection and FR rated clothing Familiarity of conveyor belts and their components Able to work on voltages up to 24.9K DC Other duties as required. Safety: Ensures that all tasks comply with Company health and safety requirements and policies and procedures and strengthens the culture of safety in the workplace. Demonstrate safety awareness. Participate in safety meetings and site safety programs. Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, demonstrate manual dexterity, climb stairs, talk, hear and see. Work is in a surface mine plant setting, which may include exposure to extremes in temperature and humidity. Complete reports for all testing and inspections performed. Qualifications and Requirements 3-5 years of experience in a structural steel fabrication environment. AWS Certified Welding Inspector Certification Familiarity with FCAW and SAW welding processes. Proficiency in reading fabrication drawings. Understanding of fabrication codes (AWS D1.1 preferred). Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with team members and customer QC representatives. Ability to work safely and professionally. Schedule and Location The standard schedule is 10-hour days Monday through Thursday and an 8-hour day on Friday. (Additional overtime may be required based off production needs.) Ensure that all workstations are 5s/lean. Manage constraints to meet production. Ensure that Inspection materials are restocked at the end of shift. All other duties, as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. 1- year Quality experience in a manufacturing production environment Must be able to multi-task and work quickly.
