US Farathane is seeking an experienced Process Technician. This position is directly responsible for ensuring that all machines are running and all processes are in control and running to standard at all times. US Farathane has been a leading source of plastics manufacturing, supplying the automotive industry for over 40 years. Through highly technical research and development, coupled with a diverse and knowledgeable Management Team and dedicated Associates, US Farathane has continued to grow each year. We provide customers with a wide range of full-service support from black-box design concepts to highly engineered composites, TPE's and TPO's as well as specialized extrusion and compression technologies.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for machine start-ups.
First response to all machine, robot, thermolator and secondary equipment alarms.
Ensure machines and robots are running at optimum efficiency.
Troubleshoot machine, mold and material problems.
Report to Production Supervisor any difficulties or problems requiring special attention.
Responsible for the accurate completion of Process Verification, Tool Reports and Mistake Proof Check sheets as required.
Responsible for all die change activities not done by a Die Setter.
Responsible for maintaining the appearance of all Thermolators, Robot Control Stations, DME units etc.
Ensures proper care of all equipment especially the managing and proper disposal of all purgings.
Responsible for continuous improvement (ideas and suggestions).
Responsible to follow all OSHA and safety rules and regulations.
Responsible for following all USF policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
Plastic Injection molding background with a minimum of three years of experience in plastics processing.
Must be experienced in mold set-ups, trouble shooting, exposure to maintenance problems and be familiar with state-of-the-art controls on machines and robots.

Under minimal direction, performs inspection of purchased parts, sub-assemblies, manufactured parts, finished goods, and selected first articles within the processes of receiving, in-process, and final inspections, as well as stock audits. The inspection criteria will be based on engineering blueprints and standards, applicable specifications, and departmental procedures to ensure the quality of the product. The inspection process involves documenting findings and coordinating with internal customers to identify product and system non-conformities, working together towards both immediate and long-term resolutions.
Job Responsibilities: (include the following: other duties may be assigned)
Performs inspection using dimensional, functional, and visual attributes as required or specified.
Perform inspections of samples from new and modified tooling, as well as inspections and identification of metals, plastics, finishes, and plating.
Performs calibration, inspection, and maintenance of Boundary Boards, Production gages, and equipment, as well as ensuring conformance to specifications described.
Creates P.O.s for tools and equipment that require an outside resource for calibration and documenting/saving certs into our system.
Other activities may include:
Product or process studies support
Internal filing and processing of inspection documentation and records.
The movement of parts and paperwork to other areas.
Work on team projects and other duties as assigned.
Performs and supports in QA/QC inspections, audits, and production line investigations related, but not limited to, suspect item non-conformances and troubleshooting with the support of drawings, specifications, and related documentation.
Understands the Four-Level Defect Grading System and consistently achieves product quality goals and standards.
Works closely with department supervisors, quality assurance/support, and other co-workers to effectively solve problems, correct, rectify, and prevent Category 1 and 2 quality defects and errors.
This role requires support in a Task Force team for new product development, plays a key role as a QA representative, and functions within those processes.
Effective communication and coordination with the lead person/supervisor and peers is necessary, and the person will directly report to the QA Supervisor.
All duties and responsibilities must be completed with a high level of accuracy and thoroughness.

Responsibilities
The primary role of this position is to provide oversight for the Automation systems.

WE are looking for a Quality Control Technician/ UL 508A MTR to join our team. CMA is a UL508A certified electrical panel shop where we build OEM electrical panels for a wide variety of customers and industries. The Quality Control Technician/UL508A MTR is accountable for achieving quality goals, maintenance records of calibrated tools, staying up to date with UL standards, scheduling efficiencies and the oversight of quality to the department supervisor weekly.

Remove tooling and properly reassemble using basic hand tools. Basic motor skills are required to perform the necessary mechanical aspects of this job in an efficient manner.
Tolerate summer heat of 15 degrees above outside temperatures.
Writing must be legible using proper spelling and grammar.
Body agility to enable bending, stooping and lifting hose, tools and other items needed to perform the job. Body strength and stamina must be sufficient to perform these duties 25 times per shift.
