Duties/Responsibilities:

Reviews and analyzes contractor plans and technical submittals for approval action, including progress schedules, environmental, safety and quality control programs, certifications and shop drawings.
Prepares correspondence regarding Contractor performance, Requests for Equitable Adjustments (REAs), Requests for Information (RFIs) and other technical issues.
Prepares both partial and final payment estimates including the measurement and computation of pay item quantities, verification of materials on hand, and percentage complete of lump sum items.
Monitors scheduled progress of all construction activities and phases of construction and advises the Resident Engineer, COR, and project team of potential slippage or delay
Participates and executes RFI and Submittal reviews, including coordination with the designers, RE, and technical experts and executes responses to the contractor.
Logs and maintains data as necessary to assist with project management and decision making.

Monitors patient understanding, effort, and tolerance throughout testing procedure and documents appropriately.
Reviews patient records, physician orders, protocols, and data to demonstrate ability for interpretation of subjective and objective information for patient assessment and order validation. Seeks guidance from Director/Supervisor and Medical Director for unresolved issues.
Performs daily calibration and periodic maintenance of all diagnostic testing equipment, records results on maintenance records per departmental policy and reference manuals.
Assists other members of the staff maintain skills in performing diagnostic testing.
Participates in the orientation, mentorship and education of personnel and students. Provides formal and informal teaching/learning opportunities to assist personnel to achieve and maintain competence necessary for safe and effective practice.

**What you will do**
+ Collects, analyzes, and integrates patient information in order to identify and meet the patient-specific needs (physical/mental limitations, current emotional/physiological status regarding the testing procedure, pertinent medical/social history), and to determine final testing parameters/procedure in conjunction with the ordering physician or clinical director and sleep laboratory protocols.
+ Documents routine observations including sleep stages and clinical events, changes in procedure, and significant events in order to facilitate scoring and interpretation of polysomnographic results.
+ Explains pre-testing, testing, and post testing procedures to the patient.
+ Performs sleep studies including CPAP and BiPAP titration and indications for each. Also can understand and implement the Auto SV therapy.

Night Shift: 8:00pm-6:00am
This position may be eligible for a $15,000-$20,000 sign-on bonus with a 3 year commitment!
This position may also include a relocation bonus for an experienced SLT.

A Brief Overview
Provides comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders. This may involve polysommography, diagnostic and therapeutic services or patient care and education. The Sleep Lab Technologist is responsible for sleep studies and communicating with the patient and physicians.
What you will do
* Collects, analyzes, and integrates patient information in order to identify and meet the patient-specific needs (physical/mental limitations, current emotional/physiological status regarding the testing procedure, pertinent medical/social history), and to determine final testing parameters/procedure in conjunction with the ordering physician or clinical director and sleep laboratory protocols.
* Documents routine observations including sleep stages and clinical events, changes in procedure, and significant events in order to facilitate scoring and interpretation of polysomnographic results.
* Explains pre-testing, testing, and post testing procedures to the patient.
* Performs sleep studies including CPAP and BiPAP titration and indications for each. Also can understand and implement the Auto SV therapy.
* Prepares and calibrates equipment required for testing to determine proper functioning and makes adjustments as necessary. Applies electrodes and sensors according to published standards. Performs appropriate physiologic calibrations to ensure proper signals and make adjustments if necessary. Properly fits and trouble shoots masks and nasal pillows.
* Follows procedural protocols [such as Multiple Sleep Latency Tests (MSLT), Maintenance of Wakefulness Tests (MLT), parasomnia studies, PAP, oxygen Titration etc.] to ensure collection of appropriate data.
* Score clinical events (such as respiratory events, cardiac events, limb movements, arousals etc.) according to center specific protocols.
* Performs routine and complex equipment care and maintenance. Evaluates sleep study related equipment and inventory.
* Follows procedural protocols [such as Multiple Sleep Latency Tests (MSLT), Maintenance of Wakefulness Tests (MLT), parasomnia studies, PAP, oxygen Titration etc.] to ensure collection of appropriate data.
* Scores sleep/wake stages by applying professionally accepted guidelines. Involved in performing outreach sleep studies.

* Completion of a Polysomnographic course with hours and study documented via a certificate of completion
* Minimum of one year of Respiratory Care experience or a new graduate of an accredited program
