Responsibilities
Your Role:
The Quality Technician is responsible for inspecting manufacturing processes to ensure that the finished product will comply with quality standards. This position will be involved in the entire course of manufacturing from incoming raw materials, WIP materials to finished goods. In addition, this role is responsible for documenting all observations, test results and ensures control of non-conforming product.

Participate in operation and calibration of precision QC instruments and quality information systems including micrometers, scales, balances, Instron's, Spectrometers, Ovens, Force Gages, etc.
Ensure compliance with test procedures and equipment within the quality labs and production areas.
Support root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) activities
Perform quality audits of production & charting procedures across all shifts, including identifying improper procedures and taking necessary actions to correct (i.e., train proper procedures, update procedures).
Conduct necessary training (i.e., GMP, FSC, SFI, BRC, test procedures and run rules) in support of plant quality programs.
Conduct and assist in the performance of statistically based audits, AQL's and post-production inspection of products and product characteristics.
Assist Production department in the recall and inspection of returned goods and determine their disposition.
Responsibility for complying with the SQF and GMP practices and programs to ensure safe food packaging product and to report food safety problems.

Qualifications
We need you to have:
High School diploma or equivalent.
3+ years experience in a quality and/or manufacturing role.
Strong troubleshooting skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills and the ability to communicate and influence at all levels within the organization.
Self-directed with the ability to work in a demanding environment with multiple accountabilities and multiple internal customers.
Strong analytical and organizational skills with high attention to detail.
Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
Must be team-oriented with the ability to work on high collaboration and performance teams.
Knowledge of calibration standards, mechanical and electrical aptitude with precision hand tools for adjustment and repair.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A GEOTECHNICAL / CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS TESTING TECHNICIAN
Working under the immediate supervision of a registered professional engineer, you work as a team member alongside site managers, general contractors, and engineers to perform the required inspection or sampling services at various environmentally regulated solid waste landfill construction projects. You monitor general contractor activities, onsite testing, and reporting of earthwork and soil construction as well as geosynthetic baseliner, closure cap, piping, and gas extraction systems. In addition, you actively collect concrete, soil, and other site materials for testing in order to ensure construction standards and specifications are being met.

The Quality Shop Floor Tech II will join the Civica, Inc. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform quality review of materials and components received.

Responsibilities:
On-Site Quality Installation Oversight:
Monitor and inspect all electrical work on-site, including conduit and cable installations, MV/LV switchgear, panels, lighting, lighting controls, and grounding systems.
Ensure all works align with project specifications, electrical codes (NEC), and client requirements.
Conduct daily walkdowns and quality checks during active construction phases.
Conduct in-process inspections during critical milestones (slab pours, wall closures, panel energization, etc.).
Testing & Commissioning:
Supervise and document pre-commissioning and final testing of electrical systems (IR, continuity, phase sequence, loop checks, VLF, ground resistance, etc.).
Witness and document pre-commissioning and commissioning activities in coordination with testing vendors and commissioning agents.
Ensure all test equipment is calibrated, and procedures are followed precisely.
Documentation & Reporting:
Maintain up-to-date site daily inspection QA/QC logs, test records, inspection reports, NCRs, and punch lists.
Maintain and track submittal and RFI log
Verify that as-built drawings and redline markups reflect field conditions accurately.
Issue Resolution & Coordination
Identify workmanship issues, non-conformances, or code violations on-site and drive resolution through corrective actions.
Interface with project engineers, electrical foremen, subcontractors, and the client's QA/QC representatives to ensure quality expectations are met.
Participate in daily toolbox talks, safety walks, and progress meetings, acting as the quality voice on site.
Team Collaboration & Compliance:
Work closely with site engineers, foremen, and subcontractors to resolve quality issues.
Report to the QA/QC Manager and attend site coordination and progress meetings.
Ensure adherence to site safety standards, permitting requirements, and company policies.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A GEOTECHNICAL / CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS TESTING TECHNICIAN
Working under the immediate supervision of a registered professional engineer, you work as a team member alongside site managers, general contractors, and engineers to perform the required inspection or sampling services at various environmentally regulated solid waste landfill construction projects. You monitor general contractor activities, onsite testing, and reporting of earthwork and soil construction as well as geosynthetic baseliner, closure cap, piping, and gas extraction systems. In addition, you actively collect concrete, soil, and other site materials for testing in order to ensure construction standards and specifications are being met.

Job Description
The Quality Shop Floor Associate will join the Civica, Inc. ("Civica") Quality organization at the Petersburg, Virginia site by bringing their knowledge and experience in service to patients and pursuit of excellence in quality and compliance. The Petersburg site serves as Civica's new fill finish facility dedicated to the manufacture and supply of essential generic sterile injectable medications.
Responsibilities of the position include quality shop floor support, manufacturing documentation review, and the generation of procedures, chain of custody documents, or other records necessary to support the design, implementation, and maintenance of manufacturing processes that meets or exceeds FDA requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Perform quality review of materials and components received.
* Perform inspection on finished goods.
* Ensure adherence to Civica standard operating procedures (SOPs) and batch records while on the manufacturing floor.
* Ensure that real-time review of manufacturing records and cleaning records.
* Provide immediate support in the identification and documentation of nonconformances, deviations, or discrepancies on the manufacturing floor.
* Provide support as required to all manufacturing and processing areas within the facility.
* Working across functions, maintain the site's quality systems related to operations to enable reliable supply of quality generic medications to patients.

Summary:
