What Success Looks Like:
* Work closely with Production, Engineering, and Management to process nonconforming materials.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Proficiency with multiple analytical laboratory instruments, including HPLC, GC, FTIR, laboratory balance, and pH meter.
• Must be willing to wear a variety of personal protective equipment (PPE), including lab coats, gloves, safety glasses, and radiation dose monitors.
• Ability to work overnight schedules consistently, including weekends and extended hours as needed, to support 24/7 manufacturing needs.
• Experience with laboratory information management systems (LIMS), chromatography software (e.g., Empower), and other QC data systems preferred.

THE FINE PRINT:

Navigate the computer system programs utilized by department to develop and report on the quality of the process: MDS, QMS, JDE.
Understand how to interpret assembly, mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic, prints and schematics; use inspection hand tools (go / no go, thread gauges, calipers, tape) to verify compliance.
Understand the expectations of paint quality utilizing the A-B-C surface method and use basic paint inspection tools such as: surface finish gauge, thickness gauge, evaluate paint finish.
Verify that all items and/or assemblies manufactured comply with Engineering and Quality Control specifications, through all phases of the manufacturing process.
Understand basic weld symbols, their meaning and usage on a blueprint/drawing; be able to perform inspection for weld compliance using size weld gages, liquid penetrant, and magnetic particle.
Ensure tools used by production are following calibration procedures and identify tool compliance and follow process if tools are found that are not in compliance of QMS.
Partner with Supervisor and production team to provide exemplary customer service including process control and quality service while communicating quality updates/changes effectively to production.
Ability to run basic root cause analysis on quality defects.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Prepares both partial and final payment estimates including the measurement and computation of pay item quantities, verification of materials on hand, and percentage complete of lump sum items.
Monitors scheduled progress of all construction activities and phases of construction and advises the Resident Engineer, COR, and project team of potential slippage or delay
Participates and executes RFI and Submittal reviews, including coordination with the designers, RE, and technical experts and executes responses to the contractor.
Logs and maintains data as necessary to assist with project management and decision making.

The Cardiac Invasive Lab Tech performs multiple roles within the cardiac laboratory, including assisting physician(s) with invasive cardiac laboratory procedures and conducting various cardiac tests to monitor patients' heart and blood vessel conditions using diverse cardiology equipment. Responsibilities may also include: preparing procedure rooms, prepping patients for procedures, obtaining and recording patient information, assisting physicians in procedure by circulating and scrubbing procedures, X-ray fluoroscopy proficiency, acquire/measure/calculate hemodynamic date, performing blood work analysis, operate intracardiac ultrasound, clean procedure rooms, and preparing instruments for resterilization.

Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited program in invasive cardiovascular technology OR graduate of a radiography program OR candidate must be transitioning from a Cardiovascular Tech (CVT) role and have successfully passed the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) exam to become a certified Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES).

Summary This role will be supporting Technical Department by preparing samples and running physical performance testing. As tasks are assigned, this individual will be responsible for setting their own pace to complete assignments on time and maintain the laboratory. The individual must understand basic scientific processes and be able to follow written standardized test methods. Given that this role is part of a dynamic and evolving team, there is room for both personal and career development for an individual who shows commitment to the role and takes the initiative to engage in unassigned projects. Responsibilities
Participate in and eventually lead projects to analyze materials for qualification, develop new products, and provide technical support to commercial and operations
Participate in trials and inspections on the production floor and collect samples as needed
Develop test plans and complete necessary testing for assigned projects
Collect, organize, and analyze data relating to relevant projects
Continually develop skills and knowledge related to release liners, tapes, and other materials testing
Manage instrument calibrations, and maintain existing and new laboratory equipment in good working condition
Provide input and ideas on equipment modifications and improvements to expand laboratory testing capabilities
Test against established specifications for products and materials, and make recommendations based on test results
Effectively process and present data to audiences of various technical backgrounds
Own and complete standard lab functions such as: test panel preparation, sample preparation, laboratory maintenance, performance testing, data entry, and observe production of and collecting samples from production floor
Qualifications: Required Skills, Education, and Experience
Has or working towards bachelor's degree in chemistry, physics or material science. Math and statistics degrees will be considered
Comfortable in a lab environment
Proficient in office suites, particularly Microsoft Excel and Word
Strong time management skills to manage multiple ongoing projects
Strong written and oral communication skills
Flexibility with working hours during major trials
Strong analytical and data processing skills
Self-starter motivated to identify and implement laboratory and process improvements
Team player with the ability to contribute effectively on collaborative projects

Occasional standing and walking on the plant floor is required, along with the ability to navigate safely around equipment and production areas. The individual may need to lift and carry items weighing up to 20 pounds, such as files, laptops, or safety gear, and must be able to wear PPE when necessary. What you'll do:
Perform all UT Inspection functions following the requirements of ASNT SNT TC-1A for a Level II
Perform visual and ultrasonic weld inspections to the requirements of AWS D1.1
Perform magnetic particle inspection using dry powder yoke method
Inspect incoming materials and outgoing products
Ensure all documentation is accurately and neatly completed
Comply with safety regulations at all times
Be professional with all personnel and possess effective communication skills
Participate in the training process of Level I Inspectors
Have the ability to perform work functions while standing for long periods of time
What you'll need:
High School diploma or equivalent
Background in Quality Control or related field
Experienced in the use of inspection tools and precision measuring equipment
Hands on experience performing Visual Inspections on welds.
Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints
NDT classroom training certificate and documented OJT hours

Basic knowledge of Welding and Fabrication
