    The Quality Inspector 2 position directly supports the Production Departments through incoming inspection of purchased components and final inspection of finished assemblies and components. WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH * Observe and demonstrate a commitment to adhere to all Amrize Safety Standards, Advisories, and Policies. * Perform ongoing product sampling and testing of aggregate to ensure that material produced and shipped will meet state, project, or customer specifications and expectations. * Perform timely repair, and calibration of laboratory testing equipment, as needed. * Performs regular updates to appropriate Quality Control and testing databases and spreadsheets. * Perform testing and assist with any of the company's new aggregate product designs. * Provide troubleshooting guidance and advice for plant quality. * Assist Plant Manager as required. * Work directly with the QC team and Management to complete testing in a timely manner. * Travel to and from jobsites assisting and coordinating the transfer of samples from the field and or multiple mine sites to the laboratory * Obtaining the proper certifications to comply with the requirements of local and state entities. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR * Work Experience: Aggregate-Construction Materials QC testing * High school diploma is a minimum requirement. * Current ATTI Lab Soils/Aggregate Technician Certification or the ability to obtain certifications at a minimum * Availability and willingness to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and 12 hr. shifts to meet the company's and customer needs. * Microsoft Office software user abilities * This position requires an essential function:Reliability and Integrity; Ability to lift and carry 25 lbs, at times over uneven ground. Additional Requirements: * Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Job Description The Quality Tech - Supplier Quality position is the lead point-of-contact between the DA operations team and our vendors/ suppliers, and is responsible for overall performance and improvements in supplier quality and material quality. This position works within the Distributive Assembly (DA) and Riverside Quality System, and uses root cause analysis techniques, and trend/ statistical analysis to assist in the continual improvement of the DA's manufacturing processes. They will be expected to lead continuous improvement activities and teams focused on improving material quality within the DA. Organizational Relationship: This position will report to the Quality Manager as a member of the Continuous Improvement and Quality Department.
