Primary City/State: Phoenix, Arizona Department Name: Flow Cytometry-Ref Lab Work Shift: Day Job Category: Lab Performs specimen receipt, accessioning for all samples received in the Flow Cytometry department. Performs blood, bone marrow, fluid and tissue processing according to the defined SOPs. Performs instrument QC, start-up, shutdown, basic instrument and assay troubleshooting, monitors pending, receives supplies and reagents in the laboratory and related QA/QC procedures. Performs all functions according to established policies, procedures, regulatory and accreditation requirements, as well as applicable professional standards.
CORE FUNCTIONS
1. Demonstrates an understanding of the computer systems used in the department necessary for performing assigned job tasks, including but not limited to NetLIMS, NovoPath, LabOS, instrument software, FreeView and Master Control.
2. Performs maintenance and QC checks on laboratory equipment including but not limited to instrument start up and shut down, as well basic troubleshooting.
3. Performs sample accessioning, resolves pending/missing sample issues, prepares paperwork for leukemia lymphoma testing according to department workflow and SOP.
4. Performs lymphocyte subset testing on the AQUIOS flow cytometer as well as lymphocyte subset testing washed panels for the Navios according to department workflow and SOP.
5. Performs specimen processing for peripheral blood, bone marrow, tissue and fluids. This includes cell counts using Sysmex, slide preparation and staining, immunophenotyping using the appropriate lysing technique, as well as acquisition of samples on the Flow Cytometers according to department workflow and SOP.
6. Communicates courteously, professionally, effectively and accurately with internal and external customers. Participates in the resolution of communication issues. Knows and utilizes appropriate resources for increased levels of problem solving. Demonstrates good verbal and written communication skills. Promotes positive communications that enhances teamwork. Attendance and participation at staff meetings.
7. Performs all functions according to established policies, procedures, regulatory and accreditation requirements, as well as applicable professional standards. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Knowledge and ability to operate centrifuge, pipettor, vortex, gravimetric scale
Basic understanding and knowledge of laboratory software for the receipt and accessioning of samples, pulling pending lists, troubleshooting lost specimens.
Ability to learn instrument operation (AQUIOS, Navios, TQ-Prep, Prep Plus, Sysmex XN, Sysmex Xi, various centrifuges), review QC and determine if it is acceptable to run patient samples
Ability to discern when assistance from leadership is needed.
Ability to clearly communicate and document laboratory issues to leadership
Ability to work in a team environment
Ability to learn from mistakes and receive feedback with positive intention
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High School graduate or equivalent and successfully completed military training of 50 or more weeks and served as a medical laboratory specialist OR, an Associate's degree in any field with 20 hours of chemistry and/or biological sciences credits OR, three (3) years' experience working in a clinical laboratory or hospital environment as an MLT (ASCP).
Demonstrates highly developed interpersonal skills. Proficient in basic computer skills. Demonstrates excellent problem solving skill, and high level of self-motivation.
Must exhibit personal maturity and responsibility.
Good reading, writing and math abilities. Communicates effectively in oral and written formats sufficient to demonstrate comprehension.

Duties and Responsibilities:
* Work side by side with Quality Engineers and execute tasks related to Quality monitoring for SolarEdge Products manufactured in Jabil Erda, UT.
* Be part of the local SolarEdge Quality team located at Jabil Erda and contribute to meeting the goal of high Quality and Reliability products production.
* Will be assigned to special technical tests, gathering the information and communicating the results to the Quality Engineering and Management.
* Work with full cooperation with Jabil Utah Quality and Production teams to achieve Quality Targets and Goals.
Requirements
* Technical post-high school education in Electronics, Electro-Mechanics or Mechanics, Technicon.
* Additional Education in Quality Assurance.
* At least 3 years experience in Quality of multidisciplinary electronics mass production at OEM Contract Manufacturers.
* Proven experience in different production methodologies, technologies, and processes of High-end Electronics, Electro-Mechanics, and Mechanical Products.
* The Quality Technician shall have knowledge of reading Electrical and Mechanical drawings and good technical skills for the assembly of modules/systems.
* Good Personal skills.
* Good knowledge in computing Microsoft Office-must, others-advantage.
* Ability to identify, log, and/or troubleshoot issues that arise during production.
* Certification in IPC-A-610, IPC-A-620, IPC-7011/7021, J-STD-002/003 preferred.
* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively.
* Good verbal and writing skills.

Job Description
The Quality Tech - Supplier Quality position is the lead point-of-contact between the DA operations team and our vendors/ suppliers, and is responsible for overall performance and improvements in supplier quality and material quality. This position works within the Distributive Assembly (DA) and Riverside Quality System, and uses root cause analysis techniques, and trend/ statistical analysis to assist in the continual improvement of the DA's manufacturing processes.
This individual will also assist in solving problems, controlling variables, and providing candid & accurate feedback that are critical to quality. They will be expected to lead continuous improvement activities and teams focused on improving material quality within the DA.
Organizational Relationship:
This position will report to the Quality Manager as a member of the Continuous Improvement and Quality Department.
Accountabilities:
Request, coordinate and track through completion vendor corrective actions
Develop new metrics and processes to improve material quality (for example: First Pass Yield)
Able to access and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
Able to complete and publish End-of-Month Vendor Scrap Reports
Audit incoming and in-process pallets for non-conforming material
Audit current processes for identification of defects in material goods and process execution
Coordinate processing of non-conforming material into quarantine receiving “red zone” and/or vendor scrap area
Maintain accountability over quarantined material and expedite disposition through vendors
Actively participate in Process, Shipping and Out-of-Box Audits and work towards resolution of open items
Interacts with Leadership in the identification and resolution of product quality problems
Frequently interacts with internal and external customers to resolve quality problems
Coordinate return of defective material to vendors with Materials/Supply group
Audit and evaluate pallets of non-conforming material and reconcile discrepancies between actual inventory and tally report sheets
Capture defect data, analyze, and identify/communicate trends with recommended countermeasures for resolution.
Coach employees on proper processing of “scrap” materials and with proper repair techniques
Periodically review specifications and Standard Operating Sheets (SOS) etc. for accuracy and revisions
Support Riverside DA employees and Leadership as needed to interpret specifications and solve problems
Assist with creating quality standards and visual aids, and training associates on their intended use
Participate in Kaizen improvement events, especially those focused on quality
Generate, modify, and complete Standard Operating Sheets (SOS)
Support Annual Physical Inventories
Support root cause investigations in collaboration with Quality Technician.
Perform Pick Cart Audits
Review and respond to Hour By Hour Supplier related defects being reported.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
Excellent written and oral communications skills
Skilled in Microsoft Office required (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), with expertise in Excel preferred
Ability to apply and interpret basic statistical data
Must be detail-oriented with the ability to discern colors and see defects from arm's length away
Must have the ability to actively initiate, lead, and participate in problem solving activities as they pertain to supplier quality issues
Must be able to give candid feedback and report findings of non-compliance to the Riverside Quality System
Ability to maintain the professional competence, knowledge, and skill necessary for the satisfactory performance of all assigned responsibilities
Able to work under normal supervision and self-pace as required
Willing to perform basic 5S (housekeeping/organization) steps and maintain the vendor scrap area and vendor scrap work cell
Two years' experience within a manufacturing environment preferred
One year of demonstrated exceptional individual performance, and/or one year of quality assurance/control desired
Must be willing to hold self and others accountable to safety and quality policies and procedures
Physical Requirements
Possess manual dexterity to perform detailed cosmetic repairs to cabinet components by hand
Individual and team-lifting as appropriate
Safely perform stacking and down-stacking of various cabinet components to process and quarantine non-conforming material
A combination of bending, reaching, squatting/stooping, standing and walking for up to nine hours per day
The ability to operate a manual pallet jack
The ability to work safely and wear proper PPE, which includes, but is not limited to: Safety glasses, ear plugs, task-specific gloves, bump cap or hardhat, and steel toed safety shoes
The ability to work in a hot and/or dusty environment
SHIFTS:
1st shift hours: Monday - Thursday 5:30 AM - 4:00 PM, You will normally work this shift, however may need to work on Fridays based on company needs.
