Collaboration with Medical Team: Work closely with physicians, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the images are reviewed promptly and accurately. Radiation Safety and Compliance: Adhere to established safety protocols to minimize exposure to radiation for both the patient and staff. Ensure the appropriate use of protective equipment (e.g., lead shields, aprons, and thyroid collars) when necessary to protect the patient and others in the vicinity. Comply with all radiation safety standards, including guidelines for exposure levels and safety measures specific to the facility. Professional Development and Training: Stay current with advances in radiologic technology, including improvements in X-ray imaging and new safety protocols. Participate in continuing education programs, workshops, or certification courses to maintain licensure and keep up with industry standards. This is a full-time Interventional Radiology Technologist position located at West Hospital. 4, 10 hour shifts. Call is required: Every 4th weekend and 1 night/week. Must live within 30 minutes of West Hospital. Sign-on bonus & referral bonus available to eligible applicants! New shift differentials available!
