Key responsibilities:
Work cross-functionally with teams to affect department-wide performance improvement with our internal and external partners by designing and implementing processes, metrics, and programs that enhance the end-to-end customer experience
Participate in listening mechanisms, to include cross-functional meetings and improvement projects related to timeliness and quality of service delivery
Coordinate monthly Continuous Improvement team communication strategy, sharing successes and engaging Operators to learn about continuous improvement methodologies

Facilitate meetings while also providing feedback and insight (i.e., Voice of the Operator intake review, roadmap prioritization, etc.)
Define and drive project plans in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment
Work with program managers, operations leaders, and the leadership team to communicate the impact of critical business initiatives in a global setting
Influence design and development of strategic processes
Audit completed projects to verify sustained impact
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree
3+ years' experience in operations leadership, business consulting, program management, or project management experience
2+ years' experience in delivering results related to quality and/or efficiency improvements
Detail oriented, excellent analytical, verbal, and written communication skills, especially narrative writing
High levels of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information
Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced degree
Six Sigma Green Belt or Lean Certification

The hiring range for this position in New York is $120,300 to $161,300 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.

Successful candidates will be reliable, trustworthy, and accountable for delivering results. Familiarity with 14 CFR Part 25.1309, SAE ARP-4754, SAE ARP-4761, and hands-on experience developing and/or reviewing safety analyses are highly beneficial for this role.
The ability to take initiative, show leadership in cross-functional teams, and manage complex projects is essential. You will need to take ownership of work activities to ensure accurate, efficient, and timely completion.

Analyze the integration of complex airplane systems and their corresponding airplane-level effects, failure indications, and flight crew actions as part of a system of systems analysis

Fujifilm Sonosite is seeking a Reliability Engineer to support R&D Systems Engineering developing Point-of-Care ultrasound medical devices in Bothell, Washington. As an individual contributor, you will support the entire lifecycle of ultrasound systems, including transducers and accessories. This position will be a champion and focal point on new product development teams using a Design for Reliability (DfR) approach starting early in the design process to ensure designs are robust to customer use, environmental stress, and service-life duration. The position will also support released products with failure rate analyses, reliability improvement projects, and safety risk assessments of field failure issues. You will work collaboratively within a technical cross-functional team to plan Design for Reliability efforts, including reliability analyses, HALT tests, reliability demonstration test programs, and engineering analyses. Job Description
Essential Job Functions:
Work hand in hand with the Program Management, Product Management, and discipline leads to ensure the overall product/solution system integrity from concept to end of life of the product, including meeting all expectations from major stakeholders like Systems Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, regulatory bodies, and Servicing, in addition to customers and patients.

Participate in risk management activities, FMEA, and safety risk assessments to mitigate risks and design for reliability.
Work within a cross-functional team to weigh cost factors, resolve technical conflicts, and align on paths forward.
Create, review, and release reliability documentation, including analysis reports, test reports, and summary reports.
Teach Design for Reliability strategies and methods to engineering teams who will help implement them.
Gather and encourage lessons learned from NPI projects and marketed product performance.
Engage with User Interface, Hardware Engineering, Product Management, Clinical Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, and V&V teams to ensure stakeholders' needs are addressed in the reliability program.
Keep abreast of new developments in relevant technological domains.
Advise on change requests for system and related products.
Knowledge/Experience:
BS in relevant engineering, statistics, or data analysis field (MS degree preferred).
Minimum 5+ years' experience in a medical or other regulated industry (medical desired), with experience leading or supporting Design for Reliability efforts for product development.
Expertise in reliability software tools, such as Reliasoft, Weibull++, Minitab.
Experience with the following standards is preferred, but not required: ISO 14971, IEC 60601-1, IEC 60601-2-37.
In-depth understanding of both hardware and software for integrated products, including a strong understanding of reliability assessments and Design for Reliability programs for PCBA designs.
Strong understanding of safety risk management, including FMEA, fault tree, hazard analyses, and design mitigations.
Experience creating reliability plans, teaching reliability principles to team members, and implementing a Design for Reliability program within a cross-functional team.
Experience in designing and assessing compliance to national/international standards.
Experience with designing fault-tolerant systems.
Demonstrated leadership skills leading cross-functional Reliability programs

Proven ability to communicate in both verbal and written form to technical and non-technical customers, stakeholders, and various levels of management.

The Product Quality Engineer for the Airfoil Castings manufacturing process will drive product qualifications and quality improvements for key performance indicators (KPIs) of suppliers within the Airfoil Castings supply chain including quality plan implementation.
The PQE, will own supplier First Article Inspection results and drive supplier compliance to Source Substantiation Plans or design intent verification. Provide supplier product release direction when part approval cycles are not complete while also being the internal quality focal for those parts. Collaborate with Supplier Quality, Supplier Quality Operations and New Product Introduction / Management of Change teams as required- this collaboration may include onsite visitation.
In this role, you will also understand how the team integrates with other teams outside of Quality to meet short term and long term the business objectives. + Role is responsible for supplier processes, from initial qualification, maintenance, and necessary improvement driven by business quality needs.

Responsibilities
* Work with product development engineering on Design For Manufacturability and Design For Assembly improvements.
* Determine appropriate manufacturing processes for new products.
* Design, setup and launch manufacturing lines.
* Support manufacturing on continuous improvement projects for current processes
* Works with machinery suppliers to define appropriate requirements and performance.
* Perform machine qualifications at vendor's facility and any of the company's locations
* Works in conjunction with Continuous Improvement team to improve the deployment, sustainability, and consistency of process improvements across locations.
* Establishes work measurement programs and analyzes work samples to develop standards for labor utilization.
* Helps develop automation in the process to improve safety, reduce defects and improve productivity.
* Analyzes work force utilization, facility layout, and operational data including production costs, process flow charts, and production schedules, to determine efficient utilization of workers and equipment.
* Recommends methods for improving efficiency while reducing waste.
* Observe manufacturing operations, collect data, and implement process improvements at manufacturing locations.
* Maintains technical aptitude by attending pertinent classes, seminars, and trade shows as needed.
* Work closely with other Engineers and Manufacturing team members to continuously improve production machinery.
* Provide support for manufacturing facilities related to production/quality/machinery.
* Prioritize workload to ensure that deliverables are completed in timelines that meet customer expectations.
* Responsible for maintaining an individual project schedule to maximize task efficiency, prioritization, and communication.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
* BS Degree in Manufacturing/Industrial/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
* Greater than 5 years experience in a manufacturing environment
* Proficient using 2D and 3D computer aided drafting/design software, Solidworks 3D experience preferred.
* PLC and CNC programming experience is preferred.
* Fluent in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
* Practical knowledge of process improvement tools: Lean, Six Sigma, TPM, Value Stream Mapping, Five S, etc.
* Strong mechanical analysis, problem-solving, concept modeling, and mathematical skills.
* Knowledge of fenestration or related industry, including processes and systems or similar business practices is a plus, but not required.
* Strong passion, high energy, and enthusiasm for growth.
* Strong time management, organizational skills, and ability to set priorities for multiple tasks.
* High level of customer focus both internally and external.
* Ability to effectively communicate in written or verbal manner with individuals from all areas of the organization.

What You Will Be Doing:
The Senior Site Reliability Engineer is a strategic technical leader responsible for designing and maintaining resilient systems and infrastructure. This role involves proactive reliability engineering, incident response leadership, and mentoring junior SREs to uphold high operational standards across the organization. This is an onsite role that reports directly to the Director of IS&T at our Everett, WA office.
* Collaborate with engineering teams to design scalable, fault-tolerant systems that meet performance and reliability goals
* Define and manage SLIs, SLOs, and SLAs; implement error budgets and reliability metrics
* Lead major incident responses, conduct root cause analyses, and drive postmortem processes
* Build and maintain automation for deployments, monitoring, and infrastructure management using tools like Terraform, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines
* Develop and maintain observability platforms to ensure real-time system health tracking and proactive alerting
* Forecast system demands and optimize performance through load testing and tuning
* Collaborate with security teams to ensure infrastructure meets compliance and security standards
* Guide junior engineers, promote best practices, and contribute to a culture of reliability and continuous improvement
Required Skills:
* 8+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or infrastructure engineering roles
* Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field
* Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), container orchestration (Kubernetes), and scripting languages (Python, Go, Bash)
