Our Company BrightSpring Health Services The Regional Vice President of Operations oversees and manages the day-to-day operations of anassigned geography of branches for Hospice in TX, IN, IA, & WI. The RVP is responsible for a combined census of greaterthan 800. Responsibilities
* Works with Divisional and Senior Vice President of Operations and Finance Team to plan, andexecute the company's budgeted revenue goals• Collaborates with other business functions such as Sales, Clinical Operations, HR and Finance toensure business and financial goals are achieved• Works closely with clinical leadership to ensure appropriate quality standards are met for theidentified branches Responsible for care delivery and achievement of quality goals.• Monitors changing business needs and implements actions to resolve and address thoseidentified needs• Identifies operations that are not performing to standard and develops and implements plans ofcorrective action• Ensures that employees in the area understand and adhere to compliance, regulatory and Company processes, procedures, and regulations Responsible for meeting all compliancestandards and regulations and to adherence of BrightSpring processes and procedures.• Develops positive and trusting relationships with local leaders and communities we serve
* Consults with the DVP or SVP of Operations in budget/financial goals for the operating area• Consults with the DVP or SVP of Operations in determining operational risk factors and contributeto the creation of relevant mitigation plans. Determines operational risk factors and developsrelevant mitigation plans for DVP/SVP approval.• Develops the annual budget for the Hospice Region for the respective area of responsibility.• Holds leaders (operations) and teams accountable for the achievement of monthly, quarterly andannual budgets and business / clinical quality goals• Provides leadership, mentoring, coaching and development to direct reports• Responsible for reporting on plans and achievement of business, admission and clinical / qualitygoals to DVP or SVP of Operations.• Responsible for recruiting, interviewing, hiring and training of direct reports• Monitors turnover in the area of responsibility. Ensures proper hiring, training and development ofnewly hired staff. Works closely with support departments to achieve retention goals• Monitor metrics proactively to effect change in a positive direction before month end• Collaborate with business partners (AVP of Business Development) and use appropriateresources to accurately forecast monthly admissions/growth• Assigned territory and area of operation can change based on business need
Qualifications
* Degree in health administration or related field• A minimum of 8 years experience with multi-site management experience in a hospice, homehealth, or related health program• Must have hospice experience in a leadership role
* Licensed as a Registered Nurse or other clinical license preferred but not required.
* Knowledge of regulations and reimbursements in home health care• Financial operations knowledge• Results oriented ability

Our Independent contractors work with children and families with a history of abuse and neglect. These are court ordered services offered to children and families who are involved with DCS (CHINS) or probation. Interventions are designed to help remedy whatever issue lead a family to the attention of DCS.

Follow established health-related procedures and related policies throughout all areas of Damar.
Will adhere to all policies and procedures as defined in the Employee Handbook and Damar Operational Policies and Procedures Manual.
Collect and analyze the client's physical, psychological, environmental, self-care, educational, and anticipated discharge planning needs.
Complete physical and provisional mental health assessments upon admission.
Administration of client immunizations, documentation and tracking.
Administration of TB serum, documentation, and tracking.
Administration and reconciliation of all medications, routine and as needed.
Ensure accurate preparation for administration for all routine and as needed medication for client therapeutic family time visits as needed.
Provide client and staff education, including infection control practices, hygiene, medication side effects and actions, and medication administration and compliance.
Provide client diabetic care and education.
Monitor clients following nursing unit policies and procedures.
Communicate changes in client status (legal, psychiatric, physical, medical) to the attending physician or nurse practitioner.
Communicate and obtain internal and external consents for client medication orders as needed per the physician.
Inform incoming shift of any changes/client needs to promote continuity of care.
Review client medical records for accuracy and ensure that the nursing notes and all documentation clearly reflect current status and client progress.
Collect and document client data for Department of Child Services Passport.
Comply with safety and security policies and procedures, including those regarding accidents and injuries.
Assist with physician assessment: manage and ensure timely follow up and accuracy with transcription of orders.
Performs assessments as needed in a timely manner and sends notifications per policy.
Maintains documentation that is accurate and legible.
Participate in weekly inter-disciplinary team meetings.
Completes and updates mandatory staff training and other licensure related items in a timely manner.
Monthly review of physician's orders (rewrites) and medication administration records for all units.
Deliver medications to nursing stations from pharmacy.
Audit charts as assigned.
Update passports as assigned.
Qualifications
What you need to be considered...
Must have Indiana nursing license as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse.
One year of experience working with neuropsychiatric or behavioral challenges and/or individuals identifying with
the DD/ID population preferred.
Knowledge of current trends and research in the use of psychotropic medications with individuals with
developmental disabilities preferred.
Minimum age of 21 per licensure requirements.
Valid Indiana driver's license and driving record that meets eligibility requirements of Damar's insurance carrier (for all positions requiring driving).
Must meet and maintain background screening requirements of program(s) assigned to.
No felony convictions or other criminal offenses involving a dependent population.
