Work closely with the Director of Engineering to integrate project activities and technical products. Provide technical support to business development, estimating, and on-site support teams. Serve as the primary point of contact for the project to customers, the Program Management Office, Production, Purchasing, Outside Design Agents, and Regulatory Authorities. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in engineering. Minimum of 3 years of experience in the design and development of marine projects such as tugs, barges, offshore supply vessels, and small craft. Minimum of 5 years of Engineering Experience Skills and Abilities: Ability to recognize and organize the capabilities of project team members into an effective and efficient team. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Familiarity with USCG (CFR) and IMO statutory regulations (SOLAS, IBC) as well as classification requirements (ABS or DNV). Must be a U.S. National. Advanced knowledge of MS Office products and computer-assisted engineering software. Working knowledge of project management software (MS Project) and change management principles is a plus.
