Key Responsibilities
Stormwater Expertise
Lead stormwater management and water quality design for commercial development clients.
Prepare hydrology reports including, but not limited to, project background, technical drainage exhibits, and runoff calculation spreadsheets.
Prepare water quality reports including water treatment design, technical site plan, and water quality treatment calculations.
Client Satisfaction:
Prepare comment response letters and redlines.
Establish ongoing dialogue with agencies and plan checkers.
Maintain excellent relationships with clients with clear and consistent communication.
Navigate Compliance:
Research, interpret, and apply standards and codes required by cities, counties, watersheds, and other jurisdictions.
Retain up-to-date knowledge of hydrology and water quality requirements in jurisdictions across California.
Ensure compliance with appropriate ADA requirements and grading design.
Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams:
Communicate with project engineers, project managers, and permitting specialists for timely project delivery.
Mentor junior engineers and advise project engineers on water resource concerns and stormwater management.
Qualifications
Overall Experience: At least 4 years of experience in stormwater design and/or water quality (preferably with commercial projects).
Water Quality Experience: Expertise in BMP/treatment device selection, design, and implementation.
Compliance Skills: Firm grasp of hydrology and water quality requirements in jurisdictions across California.
Software Skillsets: Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Excel, and additional experience with other stormwater software is a plus.
Stellar Communication Skills: Ability to communicate with clients and project engineers to foster a collaborative work environment.

Manufacturing Engineer - Satellite Structures
As a Manufacturing Engineer specializing in Satellite Structures, you will lead project management activities while collaborating closely with customers and production teams to ensure program success. Our Consumer Insights and User Experience teams contribute daily to the creation of exciting, new consumer products for our brands. The role will sit in the sweet spot between Design and Engineering to create, prototype and test solutions that align with our established insights/experience, marketing and brand teams based in the US.
Concepts will be created then tested with our consumers, prototyped and then validated in the US, with support from our R&D teams in China where required. When the product opportunity is well understood in terms of feasibility across design, engineering, culinary, marketing, brand, CI and legal we can then use the considerable resources of our China teams and suppliers to complete the detail design and manufacturing preparation.What you will do at VeSync:
Technical Expert
- You will be an authority on consumer product technologies, engineering principles (motorized & heated consumer products), solution selection, manufacturing techniques and material selection across multiple product categories.
Builder of Things
- Build proof-of-concept rigs with a combination of existing own brand components together with new 3D printed or CNC parts, then build custom micro-controller PCBA's or Arduino controllers to bring it all together that allows cross-functional teams to provide buy-in early to determine suitability on a product roadmap before moving into the internal development process.
Communicate
- You will be a strong and convincing communicator within the product innovation team, capable of making presentations with clean data that demystifies complex engineering studies in an easy-to-understand language for both the Head of Product Innovation, as well as leadership in the US and China.
Consumer Insights
- You will guide our design solutions by forming a complete picture of consumer needs and how new products will address these needs and create a delightful experience.
Process Adherence
- Our global IPD process, whilst continuously improving, is well understood and utilized by our teams in China. An important part of the role will be bringing a structured approach to projects to ensure seamless, accurate collaboration.

What you bring to the role:
Education -
At least a Bachelor's degree in a relevant Engineering discipline, a BSc/MSc in Industrial Design Engineering is strongly preferred. This is NOT an Industrial Design role.
Experience -
10+ years in Consumer Product design and development for international markets.
This MUST include significant experience in motorized and heated products in categories such as: power tools, blenders, vacuum cleaners, air purifiers, ovens, air fryers, etc.
Strong working knowledge of electrical and electronic controls.
Hands-on experience designing and developing world-class, successful products from idea creation to proof-of-concept validation rigs, to the point of hand-over for detail design and manufacturing.
Leadership -
Previous responsibility for multi-disciplinary, technical teams working locally in the US or abroad with suppliers.
IoT
- many of our products are connected by our Vesync app. A good understanding of the consumer experience this enables is critical to the role.
Attention to detail
- we don't have time for a trial-and-error approach to design and development, we need to use intelligence and analysis to anticipate problems and get it right-first time.
Market Experience

Manufacturing Technology Engineer I
Essential Functions
Design, modify and deploy Manufacturing Technology Solutions through various software's across multiple sites.
Specify hardware requirements and assist in the design of software systems dedicated to capturing process information related but not limited to OEE, FPY, Scrap, Rework, productivity, downtime analysis, and predictive maintenance.
