Works with outside Test Facilities to develop and perform tests required by 3rd Party Test Agencies.
Responsible for Product Testing (i.e. curving, deflection, specification requirements, etc.).
Develops and writes Product Specifications and Installation Instructions.
Provides Purchasing Team with Vendor Specifications.
Approves new Die Drawings, as requested.
Responsible for First Article Inspections of new parts.
Works with Production Team Leaders to resolve problems/issues on the production floor.
Assists Sales Managers with Product Presentations.
Field Site visits to assist Customers with installation of Gordon Systems and Products, as required.
Maintains Charts, Graphs, Spreadsheets, Data Bases, and other informational documentation related to the Continual Improvement of process procedures as well as Team and Departmental Goals that are monitored for Continual Improvement.
Monitors, Tracks, and Charts critical steps and procedures.
Monitors both Individual and Team Goals and looks for opportunities for Personal and Professional Improvement.

The Senior Engineer Big Data is responsible for the delivery of end to end application, system development and maintenance on complex multi technology platforms within assigned client group, business unit or corporate department and utilizing various customer technology platforms.

Minimum Requirements:
Requires an BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field of study and a minimum of 5 years related experience; multi-dimensional platform experience; expert level experience with business and technical applications, or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences:
Multi database and/or multi language strongly preferred.
Experience mentoring others, leading multiple small projects and providing troubleshooting support is preferred.
