Reality Labs at Meta is seeking Research Scientists with experience in product-focused machine learning and signal processing research to advance our pioneering work in neuromotor interfaces, which has grown out of the acquisition of CTRL-labs. We're building a practical interface drawing on the rich neuromotor signals that can be measured non-invasively via surface electromyography (EMG) with single motor neuron resolution. This technology could become one of the main pillars for interaction with virtual and augmented worlds.We are a multi-disciplinary team of researchers investigating the nature of human neuromotor signals, developing novel signal processing and machine learning methods to infer a user's intent, and creating novel interaction techniques and user experiences. What you'll do:
Contribute to Schrödinger's drug discovery programs as a medicinal chemist
Support and execute medicinal chemistry strategies to deliver high quality clinical candidates
Manage chemistry CROs to ensure efficient program execution
Collaborate with computational chemists and modelers on the application of Schrödinger's computational platform for rapid advancement of drug discovery programs
What you should have:
PhD in synthetic organic or medicinal chemistry
At least four years of drug discovery experience in a pharmaceutical and/or biotech setting
Extensive experience in working with external chemistry teams at CROs
Contemporary knowledge of key Medicinal Chemistry concepts and good understanding of biology, pharmacology, drug metabolism and pharmacokinetics
Any of the following would be a plus:
Experience in leading drug discovery projects (as medicinal chemistry lead or project lead)
Experience with therapeutic modalities beyond small molecules (e.g., degraders, peptides, ADCs)
