As an Associate, you will have the opportunity to work with our highly motivated and effective team of professionals on a variety of interesting projects across different industries including but not limited to manufacturing, distribution, consumer, retail, restaurants, business and industrial services as well as healthcare, software & technology, energy and financial services. You will gain exposure to our integrated due diligence approach that goes beyond traditional financial due diligence (e.g., quality of earnings analyses) and focus on key value drivers for strategic acquirers. Our integrated due diligence approach combines our deep operational, functional and industry expertise with Big Four quality financial accounting and tax services to drive value throughout the investment lifecycle. Responsibilities include: Assist with core financial due diligence, helping to identify key risks and potential deal breakers, assess the strengths and weaknesses of the business against industry benchmarks, and aid in the evaluation of the potential transaction in the context of our clients' investment strategy. Analyze detailed financial statement information including income statement, balance sheet, cash flow and key operational data. Synthesize and convert the data into meaningful information that is used to drive discussions with target management and drive observations, key insights and conclusions. Assess the quality of the target company's reported earnings, net assets and cash flows. After an investigative analysis, assist in the construction of deal-oriented reports and presentations for clients that highlight the key financial, commercial and other findings facing investments and the drivers behind maintainable profits and cash flows. Aid the team in further articulating how such findings should be incorporated into the client's valuation and certain transaction documents. Participate in meetings and conference calls with target company management and help in taking detailed notes for the project team with regards to such discussions. Be actively involved in building and maintaining client relationships and other business development opportunities (e.g., research for proposals, assisting in preparation of proposal materials, etc.). Qualifications * A minimum of 2-3 years of audit experience at a top accounting firm as well as a preferred minimum 1 year of experience serving clients in a financial due diligence capacity. * Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting and/or related major Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or in the process of obtaining one * Working knowledge of US GAAP and SEC reporting High proficiency in Excel , Database skills and PowerPoint * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills * Strong project management skills * Flexibility to work as both a team member and as an individual contributor * Ability to thrive and be effective in fast-paced settings The base salary is $100,000 annually, dependent on several variables including but not limited to education, experience, skills, and geography. Our GTM Excellence offering within the Technology Industry Group (TIG) brings a structured and disciplined approach to create and capture value. We provide corporate and equity buyers with a broad continuum of knowledge and tools for performance improvement, mergers, acquisitions, carve-outs, joint ventures, and alliances. The team works across the full spectrum of the deal and company lifecycle, from pre-deal commercial diligence and operational reviews to post-deal implementations and performance improvement. Our projects often include evaluation of, or initiatives related to, go-to-market operating models, sales effectiveness, pricing optimization, and customer segmentation, which requires an understanding of revenue growth levers and operational execution. Engagement types and responsibilities include: * Lead or support GTM diligence workstreams during M&A and growth strategy engagements * Evaluate sales and marketing operating models, including customer segmentation, pricing models, and channel effectiveness, to determine alignment with business strategy * Assess revenue growth opportunities by analyzing customer acquisition strategies, retention metrics, and product-market fit * Conduct interviews with senior leadership, including CROs, CMOs, and sales leaders, to identify gaps in GTM strategy, sales execution, or marketing effectiveness * Engage during the pre-acquisition diligence phase to evaluate sales effectiveness, marketing ROI, pricing strategies, and organizational structures * Develop Day-1 and 100-day plans to drive performance improvements across critical areas such as sales enablement, pricing optimization, customer segmentation, and channel management * Execute merger integration and carve-out strategies, managing critical path workstreams to ensure seamless separation or integration of GTM functions * Identify and implement cost-reduction initiatives in sales and marketing while maintaining or improving revenue performance * Develop and implement pricing strategies to optimize revenue and margin performance How will you be supported? Our Digital Forensics Manager position offers an opportunity to be part of a team that supports a variety of industry sectors, dispute types, and geographic jurisdictions. The problems these consultants solve for A&M's clients are complex and require innovative solutions that call on a comprehensive range of best-in-class forensic data and evidence preservation procedures.
