Responsibilities: - Conduct thorough legal research to support case preparations and ongoing litigation. - Manage and review legal documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with court requirements. - Coordinate schedules and maintain calendars to ensure timely court filings and meetings. - Assist in drafting and filing court documents, including e-filing procedures. - Collaborate with attorneys to gather information and prepare for interviews. - Monitor and track deadlines for municipal cases and ensure timely submission of required documentation. - Provide administrative support, including managing correspondence and maintaining case files. - Communicate effectively with court personnel and other legal professionals to facilitate case progress. - Organize and maintain case timelines to ensure seamless case management. - Ensure adherence to legal procedures and standards within all assigned tasks. Requirements - Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Legal Assistant, preferably in civil litigation. - Proficiency in e-filing systems and familiarity with court filing protocols. - Strong organizational skills with experience managing calendars and tracking deadlines. - Knowledge of municipal cases and related legal processes. - Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive legal documents. - Strong communication skills for interacting with attorneys, court personnel, and clients. - Ability to multitask and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment. - Proficient in legal research and document preparation. The Credit Underwriter is responsible for assessing and ensuring the creditworthiness of the bank's commercial clients. You will monitor client financial health, evaluate loan risks, and provide recommendations in line with banking policies and regulatory guidelines. The role focuses on conducting financial analysis, underwriting loan requests, and staying actively involved in credit decision-making to maintain a robust lending portfolio. Key Responsibilities + Collect and evaluate financial statements, borrowing base certificates, and covenant compliance reports from clients. Perform annual reviews and financial performance analyses. + Underwrite new loan requests and modifications for existing relationships, including financial statement spreading, cash flow assessments, collateral evaluation, and guarantor support. + Assign risk ratings, monitor covenant compliance, and recommend credit facilities that align with established policies. + Partner with Senior Credit Analysts, Account Officers, and other team members to meet credit needs.
