In this long-term contract role, you will play a pivotal part in supporting attorneys with trial preparation, legal research, and case management. This position is ideal for an organized and detail-oriented individual with a strong background in civil litigation and family law. Responsibilities: - Assist attorneys with trial preparation, including gathering and organizing relevant documentation. - Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies and arguments. - Manage case files using specialized case management software to ensure accuracy and accessibility. - Prepare and file legal documents with courts in compliance with procedural requirements. - Collaborate with attorneys to develop and implement litigation strategies. - Monitor deadlines and schedules to ensure timely completion of case milestones. - Handle discovery processes, including document review and evidence compilation. - Provide administrative support during hearings and trials. - Maintain up-to-date knowledge of family law and civil litigation procedures. - Communicate effectively with clients and legal teams to facilitate case progress.
