What You'll Do:
Provide client support by responding to service requests and troubleshooting issues with workstations, operating systems, networks, Microsoft 365, and common business applications
Maintain clear, professional communication to ensure clients feel supported throughout the entire issue-resolution process
Manage incidents by logging and categorizing tickets, making timely initial contact, and escalating issues with thorough documentation when necessary
Document troubleshooting steps and resolutions, and create or update internal knowledge base materials for recurring issues and evolving systems
Monitor system alerts and collaborate with teammates and field technicians to resolve issues efficiently and support overall team success
Skills You'll Need:

Reporting to the General Counsel, the Vice President, Assistant General Counsel will play a critical role in advising the company on securities law, corporate governance and corporate transactional matters. The role will manage public disclosures, oversee other public company obligations and have close collaboration with senior leadership.

Responsibilities
Advise on securities law and corporate governance. Draft and review SEC filings, including Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, Section 16 filings, registration statements, proxy statements, and other regulatory disclosures and reports.
Support complex financial transactions and M&A activity as needed.
Assist with board and committee governance, including preparing board materials and minutes and interacting with board members on a variety of matters.
Manage our insider trading policy and 10b5-1 trading plans.

Qualifications
Must have a J.D. degree from an ABA-approved law school, and admission to one state bar or the District of Columbia and be eligible for admission as in-house counsel in Virginia (if not a member of the Virginia bar).
At least 6-8 years of experience in corporate and securities law, board and corporate governance, and capital markets transactions.
Combination of law firm and public company in-house experience preferred. Experience working in the telecommunications sector or an adjacent technology industry a plus.

Virginia Tech (VT) seeks to recruit an innovative physician-neuroscientist to its new Patient Research Center (PRC) at the Fralin Biomedical Research Institute at VTC (FBRI - ************************* for a tenured or tenure-track faculty leadership position at the associate or full professor level. The PRC initiative has received substantial funding support to launch this major exciting new program.
The successful physician-scientist candidate will preferably have both earned M.D and Ph.D. degrees and have completed clinical residency/fellowship in an appropriate sub-specialty from among disciplines including adult or child neurology, neurosurgery, psychiatry or neuroradiology as well as have an extramurally funded research program that includes human patient based clinical research in either ambulatory, in-patient and/or remote tele-health settings. Applications from investigators using innovative contemporary approaches to study human brain and/or behavioral function in health and disease with inclusion of clinical research trials in their program are welcomed. The faculty member will join 44 other faculty led teams at the FBRI, including 30 neuroscience research teams and will serve as the founding leader of the neuroscience section of Virginian Tech's new PRC. The PRC will have an initial focus on neuroscience research and will join several other highly successful centers at the FBRI including: the Center for Human Neuroscience Research, the Center for Neurobiology Research, the Center for Health Behaviors Research, the Addiction Recovery Research Center and the Neuromotor Research Clinic. The PRC will subsequently expand to include human patient research in cardiovascular research and cancer research.
The primary responsibility for the position is leading-edge research with some additional leadership/administrative duties, particularly as the program grows. As an Aerial Lineman in the KGPCo construction and engineering organization you will install, repair, and maintain poles, cables and conduits; install aerial and buried cables with associated hardware as required to build jobs; and run fiber optic, copper cable, and Coax, both aerial and in underground infrastructure such as manholes. In this role, you will work to maintain the safety of the crew by providing direction regarding procedures, road safety and manhole safety. You will attend safety meetings, maintain inventory, maintain DOT vehicle inspection, operate heavy machinery, and perform routine maintenance.
This job will include work on weekends, holidays, standby and unscheduled hours, and overtime. Travel of over 75% may be required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
• Install, repair, and maintain poles. Use electronic test equipment to measure signal strength. Interpret staking sheets and blueprints.
• Install aerial cables (fiber, copper, and coax). Inspect these lines, analyze, and record test results and assess transmission characteristics to locate faults.
• Access specific areas to string lines or install terminal boxes, auxiliary equipment, or appliances using bucket trucks, or by climbing poles or ladders, or entering tunnels, trenches, or crawl spaces.
