What you'll be doing:
Sell and promote First Aid products to new accounts with 75 employees or more and/or multiple locations.
Develop new business and penetrate accounts further to sell additional lines with the priority as first aid, facility services, and safety products.
Meet new customer needs with products that will help provide a safe, pleasant, and productive workplace.
Lead 411 as another tool to grow your prospect hopper.
Organize and implement a “work plan' for maximizing daily sales and decreasing mileage between calls.
Maintain a call average that is consistent with current company objectives.
Promote growth by continuously setting appointments, making cold calls, and gaining referrals for new business.
Participate and execute information provided from sales meetings.
Submit work orders, paperwork and expense reports as required.
Keep paper-flow consistent by ensuring accuracy.
Communicate with the local Sales Manager, Territory Manager and the Regional Sales Manager with all pertinent information for any new accounts.
Keep abreast of all price changes and sell accordingly.
Maintain a prospect database of all accounts being developed.
Participate in periodic promotions.
Ensure that personal vehicle used for company business is clean, organized, and properly maintained.
Adhere to company policies as outlined in the UniFirst Employee handbook and the Green Guard Field Manual.
Keep up to date about competitive companies, their products, and prices.
Share pertinent information about pricing and products with other employees during sales meetings.
Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
Qualifications
What we're looking for:
High school and/or GED equivalent is required.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Valid driver's license and safe driving record are required.
Individuals who drive their personal vehicles for business purposes will be required to comply with minimum auto insurance requirements per UniFirst's standards.
Two years of business to business selling experience is required.
High-level selling skill including strong prospecting and closing skills.
Knowledge and exceptional sales experience.

Support creating Service requisitioning, cost tracking & reporting, and proper invoicing/close out of all labor, material, and equipment purchased for North America turnarounds (U.S. and Canada)
Calc net all contractor time daily and clear exceptions (missing in/out scans, schedules, moving scans, etc.). Review and approve contractor override hours; require approval documentation from vendor when needed
Create and upload Track Imports for Cost Objects (workorders, purchase orders), rates, etc. Create and assign new vendor work schedules incorporating site rules
Run daily non allocated, non accepted, rejected reports to ensure adherence to daily vendor timekeeper requirements. Audit Track data by running weekly cost reports to increase management visibility, enforce accountability, and assure work process adherence
Mentoring/coaching/onboarding of vendor timekeepers, vendor reconcilers, and Outage Team Members as needed; Provide training, and review expectations and deadlines
Authorize cost in Track once verification requirements are met; Send Authorized timesheets to vendors for invoicing. Ensure all final costs are received and balanced with Track upon vendor completion of work
Lead close out effort for assigned outages by monitoring vendor invoicing, communicating deadlines, collaborating with procurement and outage team, and decommiting/increasing purchase orders as directed. Ensure vendor invoicing is in balance with verified final costs
Provide daily gate log & TRACK information to the outage team, including headcounts, manhours, burn rates, crew sizes, etc. for use in reporting and decision making

The Area Value Manager is a full-time, exempt position reporting directly to the Lumber Manufacturing Director. The successful candidate will need to be effective in driving actions through teams of non-direct reports through trust, expert influence, and passion for driving value within the Lumber organization. This role will operate near autonomously within the parameters below; and be self-driven to set and achieve stretch goals in the key areas and those that will develop as the landscape evolves.
Location: Preferred primary location is Dodson, LA but other locations would be considered as long as residing near our mills in Dierks, AR and Idabel, OK.
Key Functions
* Responsible for supporting mills to deliver their planned 2&btr, HVP, Recovery, Waste, (Value Metrics)
* Work with key customers of #2&BTR products (HD, Lowes, Treaters, Component Companies) and mill personnel to perform Quality Audits and provide feedback to mills, distribution centers, customers, and end users on quality/grade improvement opportunities.
* Directly supports the site Value/QC Manager to ensure standards are in place and being adhered to for all QC/Value related processes - QC checks (Rough Lumber & Finished Lumber), Optimizer Calibrations, Machine Alignments and checks, Log Quality, etc.
* Responsible for working with site scheduling/product forecasting personnel to improve/maintain Scheduling metrics and identify issues and possible solutions, adhering to established scheduling standards, including supporting training at the mill level.
* Leads efforts (working with Sales, Tactical, Finance, Mill Leadership) to improve margin (new products, mix optimization, etc).
* Works with site Value/QC Managers and other company experts, leading the efforts to train and develop site personnel on all the above.
* Serves as a liaison between the mills and Weyerhaeuser R&D, inspection agencies (i.e. SPIB, equipment vendors, and other 3rd parties).
Duties / focuses of this role can be expected to shift over time as we evolve in terms of mill investments, business commitments, support system developments, and business climate changes

Compensation: This role is eligible for our annual merit-increase program, and we are targeting a salary range of $106,917-$160,000 based on your level of skills, qualifications and experience.
