Maintain inventory and lifecycle documentation for all telecommunications equipment. Project Coordination & Vendor Management Coordinate with vendors and contractors for system upgrades, installations, and repairs. Track project milestones, budgets, and deliverables related to video and telecom systems. Ensure vendor compliance with SMART's technical standards and service level agreements. Documentation & Reporting Maintain detailed records of system configurations, maintenance logs, and incident reports. Create high-level reports and presentations for leadership on system performance, outages, and improvement plans. Assist in developing technical specifications for RFPs and procurement processes. Training & Support Provide hands-on training to field staff and technicians on video and telecom equipment usage and troubleshooting. Develop user guides and SOPs for system operation and maintenance. Serve as a technical resource for internal departments and external partners. Qualifications Education & Experience Associate or Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Information Technology, Electronics, or related field. 3-5 years of experience in video surveillance systems, radio communications, or transit technology. Experience working with public transit or fleet-based systems, preferred. Skills & Competencies Strong technical knowledge of video systems (e.g., Axis, Luminator, AngelTrax) and radio technologies. Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse group including technicians, operators, and leadership. Project management experience and ability to coordinate multiple priorities.
