Finishing Operator: The Finishing Operator is responsible for operating finishing equipment to prepare aluminum product for shipping. You will learn to safely operate homogenizing furnaces/cooling chamber, and to use band saws, lathes, and other equipment in the Finishing area. The Finishing Operator will receive cast product from upstream production and follow the product routing to produce and ship a finished product. Shifts: Most of our shifts are continental. These are 12-hour shifts, steady days OR steady nights: 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on - THEN 2 days off 2 days on, 3 days off, and the rotation starts again. It is a perfect shift for individuals who want work life balance. You work approximately 17 days a month and get two - 3 DAY weekends off in every rotation. Your schedule does not change, unless you move to another shift or department.
