What you'll do * Prepare detailed process mechanical designs for water and wastewater treatment facilities, pump stations, and conveyance systems. * Create accurate construction drawings, specifications, and supporting documentation for mechanical systems. * Work closely with process, civil, structural, and electrical engineers to ensure integrated and coordinated designs. * Utilize CAD and 3D modeling tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Plant 3D) to develop piping layouts, equipment arrangements, and mechanical details. * Apply industry codes, standards, and client requirements to ensure compliance and quality. * Assist in preparing design packages for bidding and construction, including reviewing shop drawings and responding to RFIs. * Participate in field investigations, site surveys, and construction support activities as needed. * Perform self-checks and peer reviews to maintain accuracy and consistency in deliverables. * Contribute creative solutions to complex water and wastewater challenges, ensuring sustainable and cost-effective designs.
