The successful candidate will have 2-6 years of practical hydrogeologist consulting experience with structural geology and geotechnical engineering understanding. Perform quantitative analyses and groundwater modeling using industry-standard software (e.g. FEFLOW, MODFLOW) and analytical methods.
Work on a variety of office and field assignments, with a focus on hydrogeological and geotechnical engineering analyses, development of drawings, specifications, calculations, and technical memoranda that present the basis of design.
Prepare written technical reports, project correspondence, field activity reports, data reports, and work plans for internal and client review.

Qualifications:

Need:

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
A 4-year degree in geology, environmental science, or similar programs.

Knowledge of Michigan's environmental regulations (Part 213/201/211/215).
Ability to work in a hybrid work arrangement. A hybrid work arrangement refers to splitting time worked between a home office and project locations throughout Michigan, northern Indiana, and northwest Ohio. Ideally this position shall be located in the Detroit area.
Mix of office experience (Initial Assessment Reports, Final Assessment Reports, Closure Reports, etc) and field experience (subcontractor oversight, soil/soil-vapor/GW sampling, etc).

Essential Functions
* Analyzes all features associated with the development of potable water and alternative water supply, and reclaimed water projects including feasibility, planning, design, cost effectiveness, and construction of project components based on sound technical principles.
* Conducts technical review of projects within expected time frames and established requirements. Applies appropriate analytical techniques to water resource projects and makes sound recommendations.
