We are seeking a passionate and motivated Sr. SystemsEngineer to join our team of Windows, Linux, and AWS Cloud experts. In this role, you'll deploy highly secure infrastructure and build automated solutions across our growing environment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Cyber Security, SystemsEngineering and DevOps for Windows and Linux systems. Hands-on experience with automation and scripting (PowerShell, CDK, Python, or Bash), and solid understanding of networking and distributed systems. Strong communication and documentation skills are essential, as you'll be collaborating closely with global teams. We value candidates who solve complex technical challenges through root cause analysis, can adapt to a fast-paced environment, and effectively communicate technical concepts. You'll make an impact by deploying and managing critical infrastructure, creating automated solutions for large-scale deployments, collaborating with teams to improve system reliability, and implementing solutions to technical challenges.
You will be working in a hyper-growth environment where priorities shift quickly. You must be flexible and adapt well to a wide range of tasks and technologies.

Key job responsibilities
Security & Compliance: Identify security risks, develop at-scale mitigation plans, and participate in compliance efforts
Technical Infrastructure: Deploy, manage, and support large-scale Windows and Linux environments, including virtualization platforms and networking components
Automation & Development: Create and maintain automation solutions using PowerShell, Python, CDK, CloudFormation, or Bash, focusing on highly secure and scalable deployment and infrastructure management processes
Cloud Services: Work with AWS or similar cloud platforms to support hybrid infrastructure environments
System Design: Architect and implement secure, scalable solutions while considering system interdependencies and limitations
Problem Solving: Analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions through root cause analysis
Documentation & Training: Create and maintain technical documentation, develop training materials, and support team knowledge sharing
Collaboration: Work effectively with global teams, provide technical consultation, and support cross-functional projects
Operational Support: Available for 24/7 on-call rotation and up to 20% travel

Data Center Technician III
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience and comfort using Linux and basic CLI networking commands (primarily Cisco, Juniper, and Arista), with the ability to perform Layer 2/3 troubleshooting, basic router diagnostics, OS/package installations, and system access via console or IP-ideally driven by a strong personal interest or self-taught background in Linux and data center operations.
Data Center Technician will need to be conversant in common networking hardware Command Line Interfaces (CLI) such as Cisco, Arista, Dell, and Juniper. The Site III Technician will also need to be skilled in using and navigating different flavors of Linux. Monitor and respond to hardware and software issues, utilizing industry standard ticketing system and to provide clear, timely and appropriate customer communications. Data Center Technician activities to be governed by Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Program, Safety and Security Policies to meet requirements for quality and quantity of work. Will be required to join an on-call rotation for afterhours support. Actively participate in the change management process, both checking in a monitoring production and preventative maintenances.
Required Experience
4+ years Rack and Stack experience
OS provisioning/reprovisioning (e.g., from USB or network share)
Boot strapping network devices and configuring IP addresses on these devices.
1-2 years basic Linux and scripting experience (e.g., checkout repo from GitHub, set up Linux environment, run and troubleshoot Ansible script)
CompTIA Server+ certification (preferred)
ITIL Foundation certification (preferred)
DNS/DHCP
Working knowledge of one or more ticketing systems, Jira preferred
Working knowledge of server hardware (HP, Dell, Supermicro servers)
Working knowledge of basic networking components and protocols (Cisco, Arista, Juniper)
Knowledgeable in data center practices (e.g. fault tolerance, redundant cabling, calculating power usage, teaming, etc.)
Strong cable management skills and experience running fiber and copper in a data center.
Basic understanding of electrical, HVAC, and cable infrastructure
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Certifications in Data Center technologies are desired. (CCNA, CCENT)
Layer 2 and layer 3 network troubleshooting
Have installed, trouble-shot and navigated various flavors of Linux OS
Required Skills
Able to safely lift and move a minimum of 50 pounds.
Able to be on feet majority of workday.
Fluency in both written and spoken English.
Must provide own transportation to work location(s)
Must be able to respond to any on-call request within 1 hour.
Able to update asset management data as required, using scanners.
Effectively utilize ITSM / DCIM workflow management system

Able to manage server, switch, router, storage, and other hardware lifecycle processes.
Able to understand how to run cabling correctly and effectively (e.g. power, Cat6, SM/MM fiber optic and IB)
Strong communication skills required to properly document tickets, send customer emails and communicate within the team.
Strong proclivity towards multitasking and adaptivity.
Must be punctual and reliable.

Must be willing to work as part of a team, but also on individual projects.
Able to operate material handling equipment - pallet jacks and forklifts, if certified.

Able to learn new systems, methodologies and procedures, including different types of software/ hardware.
The estimated pay range for this position is USD $40.00/hr - USD $45.00/hr.
