What your responsibilities will be as a System Administrator:
Infrastructure & Systems Management
Administer and maintain enterprise systems including rack servers, virtualization platforms, domain services, storage, and backups/snapshots.
Implement and maintain High Availability (HA) across key servers and supporting infrastructure.
Manage existing Proxmox environments and Proxmox Backup OS for critical asset protection.

Maintain hardware, firmware, BIOS, and patching schedules for mission-critical systems and storage pools (HDD/SSD arrays).

Job Description
Subject Matter Expert (SME) - Maintain instrument/software in a validated state at all times. Perform assessment, trouble-shooting, repair. Develop and implement CAPA to resolve issues as needed. Ensure completion of preventative maintenance and routine qualification testing. Install, configure software for electronic record compliance. Perform testing to identify gaps and develop remediation as required. Routinely analyze system logs/audit trails, perform software/firmware upgrades, update user account information, and complete periodic system compliance reviews.
Validation Testing - Determine and/or assist with determining the approach to test and validate instrumentation. Provide technical and risk-based rationale to support approach. Coordinate installation and/or execute testing (as required).
Review testing documentation generated by vendors and/or other team members. Compile and maintain documentation in an organized GXP compliant manner to demonstrate status.
Applies GMP/GLP in all areas of responsibility, as appropriate
Compliance - Ensure projects are completed in compliance with existing quality systems. Stay current with client, regulatory, validation, IT, and e-record regulations and requirements. Assist with implementing new internal practices and procedures.
Research - Research and on-board new instrumentation; Assist with integration of instrumentation into existing data center environments and workflows

Requirements:
You have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
You have a P.E. license or an EIT/FE and can become a P.E. within 6 months.
You have 15+ years of hands-on passenger rail systems experience (additional freight experience is a plus).
Depth of experience should include some combination of consulting design work, construction, manufacturing, engineering, operations, and/or maintenance of rail operations, rail infrastructure, and/or rolling stock.
Breadth of experience should include a working knowledge of some combination of mainline track, rail yards, sidings, stations (above & below grade), terminals, grade crossings, tunnels, bridges, switches, signal systems, power systems (overhead catenary, third-rail), locomotives (diesel, diesel/electric, or electric power), passenger cars, transit cars, freight cars, maintenance-of-way cars/vehicles, rolling stock maintenance, facilities maintenance, maintenance-of-way, Federal Employees Liability Act (FELA), railroad worker safety, track safety, passenger safety, etc.

Educational/Training Requirement:

Experience:
Minimum of two years' related experience in robotic or automation is required
