RequirementsJob Summary: The Azure Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure solutions on Microsoft Azure. This role ensures secure, scalable, and high -performing cloud environments that support business applications and operations. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Azure IaaS, networking, automation, and security. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities: • Cloud Architecture & Implementation: o Design, deploy, and manage Azure infrastructure components, including Virtual Machines, VNets, Load Balancers, Application Gateways, and Azure Firewall. o Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using ARM templates, Terraform, or Bicep. o AI Agent Development • Operations & Maintenance: o Manage and optimize Azure environments for performance, availability, and cost. o Configure and monitor Azure Backup, Site Recovery (ASR), and high availability solutions. o Manage identity and access using Azure Active Directory (AAD), RBAC, and Conditional Access. • Automation & DevOps Integration: o Automate deployments, patching, and monitoring using Azure DevOps pipelines or PowerShell scripting. o Collaborate with development and DevOps teams for CI/CD and environment management. • Security & Compliance: o Implement Azure Security Center, Defender for Cloud, Key Vault, and Policy management. o Ensure infrastructure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards. • Monitoring & Troubleshooting: o Set up and manage Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights for proactive monitoring. o Troubleshoot infrastructure and networking issues across hybrid environments. • Collaboration & Documentation: o Work closely with cross -functional teams including Networking, Security, and Application Development. o Document infrastructure configurations, standards, and procedures. ________________________________________ Required Skills & Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience). • 4+ years of experience in Azure cloud infrastructure design, deployment, and management. • Strong knowledge of: o Azure Virtual Networks, VPNs, ExpressRoute, and network security groups (NSGs). o Azure Compute (VMs, Scale Sets), Storage Accounts, and Azure Backup. o Azure Active Directory, RBAC, and Privileged Identity Management (PIM). o Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, or ARM Templates). o Scripting languages (PowerShell, CLI, or Python). • Experience with monitoring and alerting using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, or third -party tools. • Familiarity with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and version control (Git). ________________________________________ Preferred Qualifications: • Azure Administrator Associate (AZ -104) or Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification. • Experience with hybrid environments (on -prem + Azure) and migration strategies. • Knowledge of containerization (AKS, Docker) and serverless technologies. • Understanding of Zero Trust principles and cloud governance. What you'll do… As an Infrastructure Engineer at Enchanted Rock, you'll design, implement, and support highly available, secure server infrastructure, virtualization, and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS). You'll manage Windows and Linux servers, identity services (Active Directory / Microsoft Entra ID), automation, and lead network initiatives including SASE/SD-WAN and Fortinet administration. You'll automate operations, harden identity and access controls, and improve disaster recovery and business continuity. In partnership with Security and cross-functional teams, you'll deliver resilient, high-availability services that enable the business. You'll make an impact by: Owning core Active Directory / Microsoft Entra ID services (MFA, Conditional Access), DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy in a hybrid on-prem/cloud environment. Provisioning, configuring, and maintaining Windows and Linux servers (on-prem and in cloud), including patching, hardening, performance tuning, and backups/recovery. Managing and supporting Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions for secure provisioning, policy enforcement, and lifecycle management across various platforms and vendors. Automating operational tasks using RMM and scripting (PowerShell, Python) to monitor systems and networks, streamline patching/maintenance, and accelerate incident response. Designing, configuring, and implementing SD-WAN and SASE solutions (CATO and similar) across sites. Deploying and administering firewalls, VPNs, and security appliances (FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer). Defining and enforcing Zero Trust/SASE controls and ensuring compliance with corporate and regulatory requirements. Monitoring network performance and managing device lifecycle (firmware, patches) to ensure high availability. Working with cross-functional and cybersecurity teams to implement best practices, deliver IT projects, and respond to incidents. Partnering with vendors and service providers on escalations, upgrades and managed services. Developing and maintaining documentation, diagrams, SOPs, runbooks, and knowledge base articles for IT and support teams. You'll sweep us off our feet if you: Strong experience in systems administration: OS upgrades, patch management, scripting for server / cloud automation. Demonstrated track record managing backup and disaster recovery for server environments. Have Fortinet NSE certifications (NSE4/NSE5 or higher). Bring prior OT/IT Integration experience. Requirements: What you'll need: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience). 7+ years of experience as a Systems/Network Engineer with hands-on Windows and Linux server administration. Proven experience with virtualization (VMware or Hyper-V), storage, backups, and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS). Active Directory / Microsoft Entra ID experience (MFA, Conditional Access). Scripting and automation experience (PowerShell, Python) and use of RMM/monitoring tools. Experience with SD-WAN/SASE design and Fortinet firewall administration. Solid understanding of routing, switching, and VPN technologies (IPSec/SSL). Strong troubleshooting, project delivery, and communication skills. Willingness and ability to travel up to 20% of the time (local/regional).
