SUMMARY OF DUTIES: Responsible for standing outside of the store, with Petland marketing material and pets aimed to attract customers to further promote the brand. POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Gets the attention of potential customers outside of the Petland store with positively and enthusiasm. Holds up and “shakes” company marketing or promotions for public view. Maintains a safe distance at all times from oncoming traffic. Maintains professionalism at all times. Performs other related duties as assigned by management. Walks puppies and pets around store plaza/area. REQUIRED SKILLS: Ability to stand and hold sign for multiple hours. REQUIRED EDUCATION AND/OR TRAINING: No prior experience or training required. PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT: Standing -Continually required to stand Walking - Frequently required to walk Sitting - Occasionally required to sit Travelling - Occasionally required to travel Finger Dexterity - Occasionally required to utilize hand and finger dexterity Climb, Bend, Balance, Stoop, Kneel or Crawl - Continually required to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel or crawl Talking/Hearing - Frequently required to talk or hear Visual Accuity - Continually utilize visual acuity to operate equipment, read technical information, and/or use a keyboard Lifting/Pushing/Carrying - Not required to lift more than 20 lbs. at a time with frequent lifting, pushing, or carrying of up to 10 lbs.
